The Thunderbolts crossover with Shadowland begins here! Luke Cage heads into Hell’s Kitchen to pull his old friend back from the brink of madness. And if swarming ninjas aren’t enough, he’s become aware of other forces that will make his task even harder. Going against the Warden and the government itself, Cage sends the T-Bolts in to level the playing field. But without his direct guidance, will this squad of killers and criminals make the situation even worse? Find out in the book IGN.com calls “Impressive…not to be missed.”

  1. I hope they pull of this issue as well as they did the during the crossover with Academy since i’m not reading Shadowland

  2. Really looking forward to the art on this one.

  3. The solicit is wrong. It should be penciled by Declan Shalvey.

  4. Not reading SL so I hope it works.

  5. Yeah considering how the "crossover" of Avengers Academy went; I’m suspect on how this is gonna go. But even when the last issue had a suspect plot; it delivered a very enjoyable issue. If this does crossover to Shadowland immensely, I’m still gonna be a bit ‘meh’ on this; but I also suspect Parker to make this a worthwhile read. That and Declan Shalvey is a pretty good replacement for Kev Walker. He’s no Kev Walker; but re-reading the 28 Days Later comic, he’s more then good enough to do this comic.

  6. I love this book. This and Hawkeye & Mockingbird are my favorite Marvel books.

  7. Not interested in a Shadowland crossover and dropped the book.

Love Jeff Parker though and thought it was a good run so far.

  8. I can not believe I forgot Thor : Mighty Avenger as the favorite Marvel book!

  9. Excited for this, despite the Shadowland tie-in. It seems to me, judging by comments from this book and Power Man, no one really seems to give a crap about Shadowland.

@TNC Say Suspect a few more times. 😉

  10. @PraxJarvin I give a crap… Its just so heart shatteringly average.

  11. Man last issue’s crossover was awesome. If that’s how crossover’s are going to be, I’m all for it.

  12. What NawidA said.

    I’m looking forward to this.

  13. Didn’t even realize this book was crossing over to Shadowland… guess I gotta buy it.  T-Bolts has been a constant disappointment to me.

  14. This is the best Avengers book, its too bad they are going to dilute it with Shadowland. I am not getting this because of that.

  15. This is how you do a crossover! Jeff Parker is really showing me how great of a talent he is. Yes he gets stuck with Shadowland, but he was able to do so much more then just constant ninja fights. (Although there is a good amount of that in the end) Great character stuff with the lunch at the Raft and even at Hells Kitchen there is good character stuff. Declan Shalvey also debuts in a mainstream book here and I really enjoyed his pencils. He’s no Kev Walker, but I really enjoyed his style for this book.

Just a fun issue as always with this. Definitely my POTW as well.

    5/5

  16. Ghost is turning into my favorite character in this book

  17. every month this gets better and better

  18. @jmack agreed, i didn’t even mind the new artist at all. that panel of Luke clobbering that fake iron fist with a trash can was fucking gold

  19. Ghost is an awesome character and one of my current favorites.

NextChampion you are making me want to give this issue a chance . . .

  20. @ScorpionMasada – I have not read a single Shadowland book (nor do I care about it) until this one and I had no problems.  The T-Bolts next mission just happens to take place during Shadowland.  Enjoyed it as much as all the other issues.  If you like the characters, it’s them fighting ninjas.

  21. Good issue. Deftly navigated the crossover – but addressed it bit more fully than last issue’s – and focused it more on character interaction. Juggernaut and Ghost have always been favorites of mine and they’re being pretty well handled here. I love the "Cain just sort of mopes around and believes what he’s told" personality Parker has going. Shavley’s art was quite good too. 5/5

  22. THIS WAS AWESOME!

This is the best team book Marvel is publishing right now.

  23. Once again, this book is my POW because it’s the one that made me LAUGH OUT LOUD.

    Awesome.
