Pulls
It’s been a very long time since I last read an Umbrella Academy story so I am hoping this will fill that void. Didn’t mind the FCBD story so fingers crossed this will be good?!
I loved the Umbrella Academy, but the FCBD story did nothing for me and this is 3.99. That’s two strikes against it. It will have to wow me on the shelves for me to pick it up.
I’m really not sure how I feel about a comic that ties into an album. Especially one that come out three years ago.
Well I’m going into this blind! Personally I hate My Chemical Romance, but I do like Gerard’s writing so I’ll risk it.
Buying for Becky! Never read anything by Way so I’m not sure what to expect.
The Umbrella Academy is was got me into comics so I feel I owe Way the benefit of the doubt. Plus, Becky fuckin’ Cloonan. Take my money!
In for Becky Cloonan.
A very disjointed and opaque beginning to this series. Don’t think I’ll be coming back for the second issue. The art was groovy though.
Spot on.
But in the same vein, when i 1st read the tpb of Umbrella Academy from Way, It took almost the 1st issue to stop wondering wtf is going on and just ride the adventure. So i’ll give it 1 more.
Man, Way was seriously getting his Morrison on in this issue, huh? And the man himself even made an appearance…?
And what about Becky Cloonan, huh? Definite POTW!
