  1. I’ve really liked this Superman book. I never thought I’d be picking up three books with him in it and each one is different and fun.

  2. I think I will read one more issue of this Supes title and that maybe it unless it really catches me. I just have not been intrested or even liked the patchy artwork and the plot and story have lost me.

  3. Glad to see Nicola Scott back on art, I really liked her work on issue 3.

  4. I am leaving this title after this story arc is completed..

  5. I’m only buying this for Ms. Scott’s art.

  6. What a cool cover!

This title never makes it high on my “must read” list, but I have been enjoying it.

  7. The Perez era can’t end soon enough.

    • When the first announced this I thought it was going to be great. The awesome George Perez writing and drawing Superman? Aww, yeah. But I hated the first issue so much I dropped it and haven’t looked back. Totally my biggest disappointment in the new 52. Makes me sad because he is probably my favorite comic artist of all time.

  8. hmmm not sure what to think about this as one minuite i HATE IT! the next i love it. 🙂

  9. can’t wait for new creative team in a couple of issues.

  10. Somehow this series has way to much dialogue and not enough story

    • Have to agree with what you’ve said. Lots of words but it doesn’t feel like anything worth reading sometimes, just meaningless sentences at times, over-explaining things most of the time. I’m not gonna jump ship, I love the character too much, but I’m REALLY looking forward to Giffen and Jurgens taking over. Perez doesn’t do it for me, to put it simply.

    • Yeah pretty much how I feel too.

    • I’m thinking about starting a journal so that I can keep track of all these names of characters they keep throwing at us. Although that would require me to retread the last five issues. I’ll think I’ll just look at the pretty pictures next month and just file this arc away in the bulging lonbox labeled “FAILED SUPERMAN CREATIVE TEAMS AND RUNS”, and just call it a day.

  11. Issue #7 is coming and I an hold out two more issues for Dan and Keith. Mind you Mr. Perez is one of the greatest comic book artist of all time however; this was just not a very good writing stint for George!! I hope GP goes on and does another group book artwork that is, perhaps a group book again like………JSA or Doom Patrol!!
Dan and Keith I am very excited to see them coming on and for now I will just have to be patient.

  12. Well this issue cleared up nothing for me and Supes is now waking up floating in outer space some where? How did this happen? Was the story so boring that I have lost all track of what had happened or is it really that confusing? Artwork was choppy again in spots I think? I gave this a 1 because I really wanted to give it a 0 but that seems really harsh and I don’t think thats possible on this site? See this title has got me confused in real life now too I think??

    • You’re suppose to be left wondering when Superman was replaced. Was it the “eradicator” from issue 1 or not. That’ll probably be answered in the final issue of the arc.

  13. At this point I would murder someone in order to get JMS back on the title. This is easily the worst Supes has been since I started reading back in the early 90s.
