  1. Whoa, whoa, whoa…

PEREZ is drawing this? Shit. I have yet to pick up a single issue of this book, but that might do it…

  2. Still the best “Super” title out there….. kinda sad. Good series though. I don’t hate perez as an artist. He reminds me a lot of Finch. they should both just stick to drawing.

    • “I don’t hate perez as an artist. He reminds me a lot of Finch”

That sentence made me feel incredibly old.

    • How can you say “I don’t hate perez as an artist?” He’s one of the greatest comics artists of all time!

But I did hate his writing on Superman. One and done for me.

    • @BCDX97 uh, i don’t hate him as an artist. i like his work. I hate his writing.

@CaseyJustice They are just to me anyways, 2 talented artists who think they can write but they can’t. They should just stick to what they are good at IMHO ofcourse.

    • You’re not wrong, Venom. Some artists can pull of the writing duties, and some just can’t.

  3. Perez on art? I have always liked his art work and I guess as a stand in it should be fun as long as he has nothing to do with the writing!

I’ve just decided to drop this book. Too many on my monthly pull list, and I really don’t look forward to this one every month.

  5. That felt like a completely different comic than the last 7 issues. It seemed like the writing changed to accommodate the different art, which used tons of panels compared to previous issues. I did not care for it.

    • I liked it. After 7 issues of basically getting oriented, it was nice to see her in a different situation altogether. Changes like that keeps the story feeling fresh. Not sure if I’d like it every month though.

    • The art work was awesome but this was not well written at all!

  6. Now THIS is a DCnU title I love! And this issue was stellar for me.

I welcome back the regular art team next issue (though since the story is at least a 2-parter, I’d just as soon have Perez do all the parts of it), and have always loved Silver Banshee.

VERY happy with this issue! 😀

  7. It was okay. A good change of pace issue. I prefer the way Perez drew the bottom of her costume (so it doesn’t look like a panty shield plastered onto a too-short t-shirt), but didn’t like the big nose he gave her. Not the strongest issue, but a good interim one, I think.

  8. This was by far one of thee best issues for this title yet, this whole title has been underated!! I really liked that ending, and George’s artwork was as good as I expected it to be. Supergirl sitting on that bed and taking those boots off was sexy to me. (I suppose that was object right?) Maybe I am just a comicbook pervert and there was nothing to do about anything there and really how do I get worked up over a simple drawing???? Please forgive me and don’t think of me as weird, oh forget it; I am!
BWAAAAH-HAHA-HAHA-HAHA-HA!! The Silver Banshee’s Dad was unexpected and did not see that coming, I thought Silver Banshee was playing SG the whole time and was already the baddie. Wow, good switch!!

  9. I just jumped on Supergirl with the previous issue and liked it alot. Perez is a good artist but not my particular cup of tea. And its tough to explain but the script and dialogue felt weird to me but with the previous artist back on the next one, I’ll give it another go or two. This issue wasn’t bad, I liked it but its one of those, that if the entire series was like this, it would normally be among the first to get dropped again.
