  1. Four different pencillers? None of whom are the regular series artist?

I was going to be dropping Superboy after the H’el on Earth issues, but this might be $5 too much to spend on this already drawn out crossover.

It’s a shame, as (like almost the entirety of the New 52) this series had started out strong but has just petered down to merely borderline entertaining.

    Oh well.

    • I agree about the new 52 – I’m still reading a bunch, but a lot of it is on the chopping block. The stories have lost focus and direction. Kind of a bummer. I was interested in Superman with Lobdell and Rocafort, but being a part of a crossover at the beginning of their run put me off.

This book I dropped when DeFalco took over, so the 4 pencillers don’t bother me as much as the 1 writer. 🙁

  2. I bought this because I wasn’t sure if it was required reading for the crossover or not. It isn’t. Just a bad, pointless, five dollar ripoff.

  3. Yeah this was sort of a waste of time…basically all it established for me is Superboy is snarky, Superman lectures people.

  4. every issue of Superboy has the same intro “My name is Superboy and I’m a clone..” I know your names on the front of every issue you don’t need to introduce yourself every time.
