Pulls

Thanks for freaking me out, cover.
It’s certainly effective in terms of standing out among other covers. But I almost don’t want the issue just to avoid looking at the cover any further. That said, it’ll probably be good so I’ll be buying it regardless.
It’s the late night, double feature, picture show.
DANG IT!!! Hopefully my little comic shop ordered an extra copy as this sounds pretty darn cool.
I love that Hickman still puts such an emphasis on creator owned stuff even after all the success he’s had at Marvel the past few years.
Not a big fan of Hickman’s Marvel stuff, but really enjoyed Manhattan Projects, so I’m onboard. Plus I always give image number ones a shot.
I think its amazing the cache Image #1’s have these days. They are a great publisher putting out great books and people can’t wait to get their hands on the new number 1’s. Good for them having built themselves into not only a legitimate competitor to the Big 2 but also into a legitimate alternative.
For the first time ever I’m reading more Image books than Marvel or DC. Way more.
I think Vertigo dominates my stack more than any other publisher but Image is a close #2.
Pretty psyched about this Hickpower all the way!
Anyone know why Manhattan Projects #2 isn’t on the shipping list? I thought it was coming out this week.
i checked on the image website and it got pushed back to next week:/ Bummer, because I was really looking forward to reading it:/
I guess I should stop using TFAW.com as my reference for shipping dates. (They still have it listed as coming out April 11.)
Yeah, evben on the image site it was the 11th not to long ago. So they make us suffer and wait another week lol
Hickman said there were two production delays on MP#2, so the reprint #1 came out last week, Secret #1 out this week, and MP#2 next week.
Well we all know how Manhattan Projects #1 turned out: Freakin amazing!
So I have very high hopes for this to also be amazing.
Hey you guys, in honour of this book I think we should all share a hurtful emotional secret about ourselves. Someone else go first though
This one time, I read a Zenescope comic….and enjoyed it… *breaks down and sobs uncontrollably*
When I was 10 I really enjoyed New Mutants & thought at the time Rob Liefeld was a pretty good artist! THE SHAME! THE SHAME! Youthful ignorance, it certainly isn’t bliss. (am now contemplating writing a suicide note to my girlfriend?)
good but more personal, please
Wait wait wait @firevine I pull GFT alice in wonderland….Its really good. And big jiggly boobies in a comic NEVER hurt! lol
Hickman tweeted the real cover to this a little bit ago. It’s even fuckin’ creepier. http://yfrog.com/oea2wpgj
This shit looks dope
Why wouldn’t someone get this?
The first issue was really interesting even through I’m unclear where its exactly going. Its certainly worth investigating for a few issues at the least..
It definitely isn’t a single story per issue title, but as I’ve read & heard in interviews this will be ongoing but probably be 8 or 10 issue series, but I really enjoyed it as was expected since I am entirely biased on anything Hickman does!
This was pretty good but in my opinion the definition of a comic you should read in trade. I’ll definelty be picking it up when it’s collected but for now and an ever expanding pull list I’ll pass on this and stick with Manhattan Projects out of the two since hickman stated that he will be writing those more for the issue one and done format.
