I’m almost scared to read this because things looked pretty bleak last issue. It’s going to get ugly.

This was easily the best issue of Scalped in a while. And the standard is already so high.

This is issue was so satisfying. I didn’t anticipate much of what happened in it either.
Red Crow is hardcore. With each issue I like him more and more. And Dash…aww man he’s so far on the edge he’s horizontal. This arc didn’t really grab me as much as the last few (possibly due to the delays) but this last issue was just Scalped goodness. THIS was the book that I’ve been telling people is my favorite comic right now.
Don’t know who I care about more Dash or Bad Horse… and the last page made me think Gena’s story deserves to be up on the pantheon, too. She is pregnant. I was wrong. Thought she was just sick because she’s a fucked-up junkie.
I re-read all the Gnawing books this week. It’s such a good story. Everyone convinced that Catcher killed Gina?
Only just got round to reading my books and oh my God it was so good. Pick of the Week.
