  1. Is this the end?

  2. Thankfully, no. Grecian and Rossmo are still on, and Image is going to relaunch the book. They’re considering the first 28 issues as "chapter one" and they are going to come back with a new issue #1 shortly. Hopefully, pushing it as a "new" series will get more people aboard. I hope they include the first issue inside of Walking Dead, which probably had a lot to do with the success of Chew.

  3. @HailScott – That makes a lot of sense! (Walking Dead issue). I think the last few issues have not be as awesome as before, but I still like it and will keep buying.

  4. It’s a shame this series got so off the rails.  Looking forward to the conclusion even though I’ve forgotten a lot of the plot details by now.  Hopefully it comes back with some consistency someday.

I love Riley Rossmo on this but haven’t been able to follow him to Cowboy Ninja Viking.  Just don’t care for that series at all.  I can’t tell what the hell is going on.

  5. Hells yeah!

    Season 2 starts in December!!!

  6. It was a great first ‘season’ reading it in issues, but the momentum of the story has really dropped for me, due in part because of some of the long-ish delays.  I’m not at all ready to drop this book yet, but I think I’ll switch to trades.

In the meantime, maybe I’ll go back and re-read season one in its entirety with all my issues on hand so I can go back and reference all of the intricacies laid out over these 28 issues.

  7. Did this actually come out? My shop didn’t get it this week, but I wasn’t clear if it was just them, or if no one got it.

  8. delays make me want to drop this book, but I’ll stick around for the next "season" to see if they bring it up a notch.

  9. And….I guess I should have read the issue before deciding whether to stay on or not. What a disappointing ending to a solid series.
