I bought 1-7 and read them over Christmas. Absolutely loved them. It’s probably my favourite superhero book at the moment.
This really has an 80’s comic feel, but in a good way. I’ve loved this book since day one. I get a little annoyed when someone besides Amanda Conner draws Power Girl anymore.
@Nate: lol Me too! Anytime anyone other than Amanda Conner draws Power Girl on interiors I think she’s really unattractive! Amanda Conner’s work is fantastic!
By far, I have more fun reading Power Girl than any other book right now.
Amazing. I’ve never been more entertained by a comic in years. Great writing. Great art. Just great. 5/5 and my POTW.
Oh man, this was amazing. I want to marry this whole comic.
This was probably the second best issue of the series, behind last month. There’s rarely a time this comes out that it doesn’t get my POTW.
And I can’t stress this enough. Anyone enjoying this -needs- to pick up Batgirl.

I would pick up Batgirl but it’s going to have a crossover with Red Robin which I don’t care about.

@aquapimp82 It’s been my POTW a number of times before this, it’s also not been. As well, the fanboys making this their POTW has prompted about 80 people to pick it up from when Conor posted his review.
Ah, my favorite tired refrain has reared its head once again.
Please don’t act like the fanboys making a book their pick has nothing to do with the community making the same pick. Even SWORD #3, at .5%, was higher than it usually was. I’m just saying the fanboys do influence the community’s pick to some degree.

Just passing but… S.W.O.R.D. 3’s pick of the week score wasn’t higher or lower than usual. Because…
1) It got twice as many pick of the week with its first issue. Oddly, if you average the pick of the week scores of the first two issues, you (very roughly) end up with the 0.5% S.W.O.R.D. 3 got.
2) S.W.O.R.D. hasn’t got a "usual". It’s been around for 3 issues.
In other notes: I heart Amanda Connor.
