  1. I wish more of the iFanbase would give this a try. It’s very well crafted superhero comics!

  2. @JumpingJupiter.  I totally agree.  Get the first trade off Amazon used, ebay, or CBDS.  Its a great book that this group would probably like.

  3. True. Manhunter seems very iFanboy-ish.

  4. Hey… there aren’t enough people pulling this title!!!!!

Shape up kids… buy the book! It’s good!

  5. @BatStewie agreed. this is a great book, it should be easy to catch up with this arc, and I would like it if you bought it, because I want to continue reading it.

  6. It most assuredly is a great title but I was a little disappointed in this issue. Felt crowded.

  7. I have heard a lot about this and wanna try it but can i just pick up this issue. I have no knowledge whatsoever regarding what its about or anything.

  8. This issue is at the bottom end of an arc. I’d suggest going back to issue 31 or getting the trades. Or wait for a new arc.

  9. @rift1128: Definitely go back and grab issue 31 – not only is it the starting point for this arc but does a nice job recapping the entire series thus far. If you read some of the comments here for the past few issues, you’ll see some people who hopped on board there and have had no issue getting caught up. It’s well worth it.

  10. Well, as a newcomer to this series, I was a little disappointed with this one. I’ve jumped on since the reboot & am currently reading through the trades, & this was the first issue I’ve read that I didn’t love. It was OK, but not up the high standard as every other issue I’ve read. There was one page in particular I was kinda distracted by (& I won’t give my full opinion on or I might get in trouble) but overall it’s still an awesome book & I agree more people should be reading it.

  11. I’m with you Wade. Every issue of Manhunter has made me want tor re-read it several times. This one… not so much.

But please, share your full opinion. You’re allowed…

  12. I just re-read it and a few things clicked for me that didn’t before. Like the reason for the scene with Cam and Dylan (it’s a setup for Obsidian to go meet Kate south of the border). But still I find a few of those set up scenes intrusive.

I also noticed that Gaydos drew a very complex and confusing flashback (not his fault Andreyko even acknowledges that the scene is awkward) in a completely different style. That is very impressive. That he can switch gears like that.
