  1. The first one was such a disappointment

  2. First issue was pretty standard. I’ll stick with this, but really the best Green Hornet book is Year One. That was my POW when it came out and was fucking awesome!

  3. I thought #1 was pretty good.  I’m along for the ride.  I do need to check out Year One though.

  4. I was disappointed in the first issue and with Smiths track record lately im out until/if i hear better things about the next few issues….

  5. I liked it. I thought it was a good effort at recapturing the camp of the TV show. Wagner’s book is a great companion that captures the Pulp/Radio version.

Green Hornet will never be high art, it’s brain candy.

Here’s my take on Kevin Smith:
Love Kevin Smith when he is interviewed, when he talks about the business or when he’s on the radio.
Like Kevin Smith’s movies.  They aren’t the best, but they are interesting and original.
Hate Kevin Smith’s comic book writing. Don’t know why fanboys seem to get excited for his writing.

  7. This wasn’t that bad.

  8. I liked this issue a lot more than the first one, there was a lot less action and I think Smith’s dialog works much better in this type of character driven issue.

  9. Managed to suck me in to want to see issue 3, which I wasn’t expecting.
