Only 5 issues left. Sniff.
Early contender for my POTW. Last issue was a triumph.
I’m not a fan of steampunk just for the sake of it, but Gillen’s use of it was interesting.
It is ending with the non-reboot-reboot? I got that impression at the end of this issue. Shame. It’s been a fun ride.
This is like watching a Lifetime movie where a character is terminal and someone says…”I knew it was going to happen, but I thought we had more time!!!” Yeah, that’s how I feel as the story lines are starting to get wrapped up and we are entering the final act. This issue was amazing and I was misty eyed at the end. Damn you, Kieron for being so awesome.
Apparently this is Richard Elson’s last issue on JiM, it took me a couple issues to warm to him but he just became so right for this book. My hats off to you, Mister Elson.
Single tear.
Also. Doom.
I will be so very sad to see this book go.
Aww, you really feel for the little guy. And he is so screwed.
I haven’t been reading Thor, but I have been reading JIM. Is anyone going to pick Thor up who hasn’t been?
Not until Fraction gets away from it.
Sigh, I’ll probably pick up the Thor stuff, as annoying as it may be. At least it’s only a couple issues . . .
Sadface
Just read this issue today, and, as always, thought that it was first rate. I’m going to miss Leah so much . . .
“The Problem.” Indeed, indeed . . .
Also, Hans’ covers are reliably lovely, but this one was especially so . . .
