  1. Last issue was really good. Partly because it had nothing to do with Fear Itself but more because Gillen and Braithwaite are perfect for a Loki book.

  2. Last issue was my POTW when it came out. Heck, it was my POTM!! Can’t wait for this–fingers crossed Gillen can build on that perfect setup issue

  3. The last issue of this incredible

  4. Why don’t they just come out and rename the book Loki?

  5. @Minion  Because they are using the original name of the book that these characters first appeared in.

  6. Ulises Arreola is making a run for the new best name in comics. Look out Wade Von Grawbadger!

but yes, this team is perfect for this book. bring on more greatness..

  7. Yeah, he should just call him self mr nipple. I also loved the setup on the last issue, flipping the binary is almost always interesting in superhero comics.

  8. Picked up the last issue on a whim and it knocked my socks off. I didn’t love Gillen’s run on Thor, but this is just pitch perfect. Way better than Fraction’s stuff right now.

@Minion – Probably because ‘Journey into Mystery’ is the most awesome name yet conceived by man.

  9. @Conor I understand that. I was just saying that the focus looks like its going to stay on Loki for a while.

    @CaseyJustice Can’t argue that.

  10. I’m diggin’ it.

  11. I loved this issue. And I definitely want a Loki series now. I may be the only one to buy it but I want it.

  12. @Minion  This is a Loki series!

But I agree. This definitely proves that Thor is just one of many great Asgardian characters. The title of Journey Into Mystery is definitely apt for this tale Gillen is weaving with Loki as his focal point. Another awesome issue in what is shaping up to be a prolific Thor run—which barely has Thor in it at all!

  13. This was awesome…Might be my favorite book right now.

  14. Gillen’s one of the several writers whose work I find to be more consistent and overall better than most of the “architects.”  It’s sad I don’t see his books promoted as much as guys like Fraction.

  15. Alright, the constitution needs to be amended so that anyone not named Kieron Gillen is forever prohibited from writing a Thor book.

  16. I am loving this series! After forcing my way through Fractions run it’s nice to have a Thor book worth reading! It’s just to bad it’s part of the lackluster Fear Itself “event”
But I’m loving this and I’m loving this version of Loki!

  17. WOOOOOW-This is just amazing 5/5

  18. Had it not been for Lone Ranger #25, this would have been my POTW. This is why I enjoy comics!

  19. This Loki arc is Eisner material …
