    This looks like fun, but I’m waiting for next month. If Invincible gets any better, I’ll have to start calling it my favorite ongoing series (which says a lot, because it’s hard to beat Amazing Spider-Man as of late).

    i only started to read this at issue 53 after reading the first trade. To the book’s credit and from listening to the podcast i totally get all of it. Not only that but on a issue by issue basis the book is really, really enjoyable

    i have the 1st 3 hardcovers. I saw the solicits for the 4th one, but i cant find it anywhere. i usually get my T.P.’s from Amazon, but it says it is currently unavailable. My question is, is it even out yet? Havent even read the 1st one yet. Mind you that Walking Dead is my favorite book. Is this book that good. All i hear about is that this book is the Shit!!!………..Thoughts????

    @osyris this book is very very different from the walking dead. The walking dead is more emotionally affecting, displays meatier character arcs (not that invinclible is any slouch in this department) and just generally feels more dire, more important. But is it better? I don’t know. Invincible is just ridiculously fun, exciting, bright, humorous, action-y, just plain awesome. Kirkman still manages plenty of emotional moments and dynamic character, but it’s no TWD. It’s a lot lighter, a lot happier.

    @ed9121993-Seems like its the beginning of at least one major plot thread.  Kirkman usually has quite a few floating around, but he does a great job of filling you in on everything you need to know right away.  I’d say check this issue out for sures

    I liked it.  Good to get a perspective for what happens to the loved ones of people that die because of superhero fights.

    Quite awesome.  I expected some set-up for the Big Crossover next issue, but this was still a very pleasant surprise.

    Hmm. This was good, but I gotta say, mostly predictable.  Well written, just predictable.
