Not excited for this, sadly. Wasn’t wowed by the last Cho issue. More Herc, less… jerk? :-p
@Prax: I agree that so far the Cho storyline isn’t the best.
But I like this idea of splitting up their stories into two seperate arcs. The art in this was very good last time this was Cho’s title. Hopefully this will pick up
I love how there was a mix of D&D and Pulpy Radio shows for this story. I definitely like this as a whole but there wasn’t that much humor in it. But the artwork by Buchemi totally makes up for the lack of humor. I can’t wait to see the end of this and Hercules tale.
Oh and I’m sure the cameo by Aunt May is the subtle beginning for Spider-Man’s involvement in ‘Assault on New Olympus’
Very good read. 5/5 for me. Loved the D&D bit. The heavy reliance on philosophy again makes me think Van Lente was stretching his legs again. 😉 Have to admit, that last page felt like it had no place in the issue at all.
