  1. Last issue was ok, but if I’m not wowed by the end of this arc, I’m going to have to drop it, especially with Emerald Warriors coming out.

  2. Kyle looks pretty awesome on that cover. I liked #48, so I’m hoping this’ll keep me invested.

  3. Liked the first issue with Bedard, I hope it stays strong.

  4. Man, Bedard really took the space cop thing to heart, so as long as we get more of that, I’m good

  5. So far loving it I hope GL can keep atop the DC hierarchy.

  6. Liked the first issue quite a bit. Damn it, DC, I will not buy 3 on-going GL comics. I won’t.

    Crap. I might.

  7. Last issue was really solid. A good start for Bedard and Syaf.

With the formalities out of the way, let’s see what they has up his sleeve.

  8. Why is Ganthet a Lantern? I know when he became one. But why is he one? Did he forgot all about the blue Lantern Corps he formed. That’s like my mom leaving me at the park and deciding to move to europe during a midlife crisis. I hate the fact that I will drop this book when the arc is over. I hope something good is coming up.

  9. My POTW hands down this week. Bedard and Syaf, in my mind, are starting something special here. This is a fun and entertaining comic with some gorgeous artwork. Bedard has made Stewart go from irrelevant to integral in two issues. Not even Geoff Johns or Peter Tomasi could do anything for him in Blackest Night. I am fully 100% not convinced this series is in great hands.

@Jay: Last issue he decided that he didn’t want to be a Guardian anymore on any side. He wanted to become more like a Lantern and less of a man behind the scenes.

  10. @ Jay. I was trying to figure that out for the longest time. I think it has to do with his, Guy’s, and Atrocitus’ plan that they formed at the begining of #48. (I think it happened there anyway. It also happened in a GL book if I’m not mistaken, but i don’t have all my books with me at the moment to look back where it happened.)

  11. Way fun. Stewart may well be my favorite GL, or at least tied with Hal. But that’s probably because of JLU.

  12. Two words: Hank Henshaw! Amazing art in this book. My hats off to Ardian Syaf.

  13. Dammit this was really good! And I wanted to be able to drop it before Emeral Warriors…DAMMIT! why this comic have to rock so hard?

  14. Liked this one a lot. I really hope all three GL books can maintain the standard that GL and GL Corps have set over recent years.

  15. The scene on Qward has me curious. Why didn’t the white net disappear like all the other constructs? Could the White Light bring death to Qwardians instead of giving life?

Do the rings have the same effects in the antimatter universe? I know that the yellow and green have appeared to in the past, but that was before Johns introduced all these new rules.

  16. & we were worried about the new creative team?

Great all around issue. 5/5 for me.

    LOVED the last page.

  17. not a bad thing here.  lots of constant character building is certainly a good way to go about a team book.
