  1. Dear GABC,

While I still enjoy the time we spend together I’m sorry to say that I no longer feel the spark any more.  I’m not saying we are though or anything.  I’m just letting you know where I stand with you.  Maybe its me.  Maybe I expected too much from you.  I still hold out hope though.  I’ve seen what you can be and I know you have it in you to be it again.  I guess what I’m saying is… please come back…  I know you’re not really gone but yet… I miss you.

    -Charlie

  2. I planned on dropping this, but I am going to pick it up solely because the iFanboy Trinity is supposed to make an appearance.  I will then drop it for #14 unless this issue absolutely blows me away.

  3. I’d like a divorce here. Where’s Mephisto when you need him?

  4. I have loved Green Arrow since I started reading comics again. I caught the tail end of his solo series and loved it. The wedding speacials for the most part I loved. This series started of sooooo good. the issue with Connor in the hospital is one of my all-time favorite comics. Ollie was pissed that some one hurt his son and he was going to kick butt. Then the series became really jokey all of a sudden. I still liked it and was excited when the came out, but it wasn’t the same. Winick has written Green Arrow for a long time and needs to step away. Gladly DC thinks that also and starting with #15 there is a new writer.

  5. Wow.  This was good.  Really good.  I loved it…wow.

I’m so happy that this seems to be getting back on track.  From the heart felt moments (With the iFanboys mugs right there in the middle of it making me laugh) to a new twist for connor.  I really enjoyed this.  I’m happy.  Can’t wait for me.

  6. Page 22.  Bottom panel.  On the left.  The trinity.  Conor’s head doesn’t look quite big enough, but other than that, pretty spot on.

But wait….before you look for them….I have to tell you something….I am HIV positive (making fun of the book, not people who are actually HIV positive).

  7. @stuclach – yeah, conor’s head is much bigger than that (hey, he started it), and someone needs to tell josh to quit gawking. 🙂

  8. I feel like my head is angled away from the camera…

  9. Wait so the Ifanboy trinity is on this issue? Wow, that almost makes me wish that I cared about this issue! lol

I’ll have to check it out at my LCS next week in the back issue pile. So is this like your 2nd or 3rd appearence in a comic guys? It seems like you almost hit the top of the list of cameo background characters.

  10. i really don’t enjoy this book very much anymore. is it just me, or is dodger a horribly uninteresting stock character with no definable personality and a bunch of stereotypical britishisms?

  11. OMG I didn’t even notice the ifanboys. I’ll have to go re-read it now!

  12. @conor – Ah, so it is the camera angle.  Let me just get out my flesh tone magic marker and make the necessary adjustments….there, the perspective is now to my liking.

I think Ron is the most spot on.  Josh’s "mirrored" glasses make him look too…zany(?).

  13. No one should be surprised we were in this issue – I mentioned it in Monday’s pull list post!  🙂

  14. @Conor:  People read those?  Oh… hehe.

  15. I loved the iFanboy cameo.  I didn’t know they were going to appear but as I was turning the page I got a glimpse and I thought to myself "THAT LOOKED LIKE RON!!!"

  16. @conor – The mention in the pull list post is the only reason I bought it.

  17. That is more like it. Why has the rest of them been like this? The search for Connor was good but went on too long. This was so good.

Also on another page someone is wearing a shirt with an "iF" logo on it.

  18. I thought this was an interesting issue, but I buy it to read about green arrow and black canary, not speedy and dodger, I thought that aspect was really boring. I realize the story is supposed to incorporate the whole arrow crew, but dodger’s appearence in this series seems so forced and doesn’t really make sense, and I feel like his weapon thing is too anime manga style and doesn’t really fit in with the rest of the characters. More importantly after reading batman confidential this week by kreisberg, I am kind of worried with where this comic will be going with him writing it.
