  1. I’ve got my suspicions, but let’s see how this rolls out!

  2. This book is a weird choice for me, but I’m somewhere between liking it and admiring it in curiosity.

  3. Wish this hadn’t been solicited with Perez as artist. He didn’t do one complete issue. I like the offbeat characters, but the art (and story) aren’t wowing me.

  4. As a huge Zatanna fan and totally okay with re-designs… I am NOT diggin’ the Zatanna nose-ring on the cover. I like seeing Raven and Zatanna together, though… pretty cool.

  5. This was cool.  Looking forward to Justice League Dark.

  6. Utterly mental. If JLDark maintains this tone it’ll be an interesting read (for the the 19 issues it runs before cancellation)

  7. I don’t know much about Shade so it took me a minute to connect to this story. This last issue was the best. (Zatanna’s costume aside) I’m glad I stuck it out.

  8. when DC first announced Justice League Dark, i thought, “hmmm, might be interesting.” after they teased us with some of the art, i felt, “if it’s in the budget . . .” now, after finishing this series, Dark will be one of the titles i’ll definately be picking up in September. i read some of Milligan’s work on Shade back in the 90s, but it didn’t click with me at the time. maybe i never found the right entry point? regardless, i’m happy to give him another chance now. and yes, it was rather disappointing that Perez could not even finish a single issue of the title, though i thought that Blanco did a fine job filling in for him. . .
