i have not been reading black panther but picking this up for doom
I am very much on the fence with this one…I’ve never been into Black Panther’s story, but this seems a bit interesting. I’ll probably page through this at the store before actually picking it up.
Hope this got a lot of Doom. For 4$, I want Doom on every page.
I dropped BP a while back. And since Marvel has done next to nothing to promote the book, I think its a safe assumption that it wont be particularly important (at least not $4 important). I’m with @comicBOOKchris, I will decide at the store.
I’m buying this and I’m excited. Odds are this "event" will be better than the last few. 🙂
I’ve got a good feeling about this. Two issues ago, Black Panther was fantastic and last issue got me hyped for this (even if it wasn’t that strong on its own). The one thing I want is the Fantastic 4 to take the back seat in this one. Let the Panthers shine.
I dropped BP a while back but I’m on the fence for this. If my LCS has it I might pick it up, otherwise no grreat loss. What else has Mayberry done?
Since BP has been shelved for at least this story, I will automatically be signing up. BP 4 LIFE!
Deadpool is my favorite character. I could care less about BP. I like Doom, but I don’t like-like him. Should I buy this series?
I’m picking this up because I’m a huge Storm fan. I hate to see her captured, but I’ve got a feeling something will happen in this book to greatly impact her life. I need to see more of her and she’s taken a back seat to BP since the wedding. I’m not counting World’s End because it just seemed to not matter in the long run.
DCBS was giving this away so I grabbed it, but it is going to have to grab me quick to get me onto #2 for $4.
I always like me some Doom
What a suprise! This issue really reeled me into a plot that I haven’t cared about for awhile (Wakanda’s affairs) with characters I never cared for (Black Panther). This could be a bit of fun, I’m looking forward to the next issue.
I went through it at the store and didn’t see enough Doom for my dollars, so I didn’t buy it.
I’m with @comicBOOKchris. This even kinda makes me want to go get the last few issues of BP I’ve missed since I dropped it.
Did anyone notice the cover for the nest issue at the end of the book? I like John Romita Jr. and am looking forward to Avenger #1.So I really hope his Wolverine looks better than the one that will be on that cover. Other than seeming to get Wolverine’s height correct, it is simply not good.
This was the best goddamned book of the week. Five more issues to go, so it looks like retaking Wakanda isn’t the main plot, but kicking Doom’s bitch ass *is*.

Yeah, you can tell this week’s pick was pretty easy for me.
This was my favorite this week, and they’re not even talking about it on the podcast!! What gives, iFanboys? This was far and away the best artwork of the week, best inking, lettering, story. X-men were in it? Ron doesn’t even mention this? What gives?
Don’t buy this for Deadpool, he’s not in it. Or the next one. The story is decent though, I think I’m dropping it out of spite though. Not having deadpool in it is like selling a pack of baseball cards without gum when it is clearly labeled to include gum.
