  1. I really wanted to like the first issue of it, but in comparison to something like Ultimate Spider-man, there was no competiton. Will check in from time to time as I really like Jaime and the art, but the story was a little dull.

  2. I saw some of the problems that people were talking about I love the character so i’m sticking this one for at least the first story arc. Does anyone else think they tried to do to much in the first issue?

    • I just wish they either continued it from where it was or actually rebooted it. This is just a messy, mediocre rehashing so far.

    • Thats why i’m not prepared to make a final judgement yet as that first issue literally the basics of what you need to know about Jaime as the Blue Beetle.

  3. Well I gave it till the second issue and i’m done. Just seems like a crappy version of Tech Jacket. Dropped.

  4. I like the alien element.

  5. It’s improving slightly. I’m giving it another few issues before I drop it for sure.

  6. I really liked this issue even more so than #2. I have, by the way, culled 3 DC titles out of pure disinterest. I dropped
Supergirl, Wonder Woman, and Birds of Prey. I’m sure some folks like these, I guess just didn’t care for the stories.

  7. one more shot.

  8. Can’t believe I pulled this issue; I did not like #1 at all and really have not liked Jamie at all either. I know it sounds like I am stuck on Ted Kord and well I am, not gonna lie. Although I figured I would give it another shot in the reboot and maybe he will impress me to stay and do what a lot of good characters have done replacing their counterparts for a short period ie.. Wally West, Kyle Ryner, Dick Grayson, Bart Allen just to name a few. Well I am going to go through at least the first story arc and give the kid a chance. See I can be open minded or at least until my wallets gone flat….lol.
I will be reading issue #2 tonight and I am hoping it will work out….

    Just sayin’,

    K

  9. Enjoyed #1 more than I expected to and #2 was even better. I think I’m on board for the foreseeable future.

  10. This looks like it will be the second definitive drop from the new 52 books for me. At least this issue toned down the Latino stereotypes…. a little bit. Maybe this book is just a victim of me really liking the previous Beetle series, and this one not equaling up.

  11. I would love to finally find out the relationship between BB’s and GL’s.
