Is this some sort of vague Animal Man/Swamp Thing tie in?
I don’t think so, just Ivy being Ivy.
Poison Ivy is in up coming issues of Swamp Thing. I’m reading this for that reason (and that’s the only reason because this book is generally terrible).
This series deserves more pulls.
The first 8 issues of this book were a ton of fun! After reading this issue and the last two, I’m damn near about to drop it. A real shame too, because Starling is such an awesome character.
Actually, reading this issue caused me to go back and look at some old Animal Man issues. Travel Foreman isn’t really that good of an artist. He’s good at drawing grotesque, really good. When it just comes to drawing regular people though, he’s pretty amateur.
So, I’m dropping this book. I really enjoyed the beginning of this series, but I’m out. I buy too many comics to buy a mediocre one. Also, I really like Jesus Saiz’s artwork for this title. Foreman is good, but I don’t like him on this book.
