Enjoying this.
I read the first issue and dug it. I never continued because I knew Finch wouldn’t be able to keep a monthly schedule. Happy I didnt because my memory sucks. I’ll get the trade.
I thought this was great. Enjoyed it more than Batman Inc. The splash pages were really dramatic…art was top notch with a Finch/Jim Lee vibe. The Demonic Duo page was mind-blowing. And I liked how Batman sort of set Etrigan straight, that was some nice writing by Finch. I think it must be tough to be writing Batman when Morrison is at the same time, but I think Finch is doing a damn good job.
So…how did Etrigan kill Dawn’s Dad? He tells Batman there are too many enemies. BM reassures him. DD begins making celebratory speech…and his head explodes.
Despite the lateness I was really enjoying this, until this final issue. And what a dangling plot thread going into the reboot.
