Inspired by Charles Dickens’ immortal classic A Christmas Carol, BATMAN: NOEL features different interpretations of The Dark Knight, along with his enemies and allies, in different eras, from writer/artist Lee Bermejo (JOKER).

In this spectacular, oversized graphic novel, Batman must come to terms with his past, present and future as he battles villains from the campy 1960s to dark and brooding menaces of today, while exploring what it means to be the hero that he is.

  1. JOKER is the only work I have seen from Bermejo and it was great, that cover looks great too, gotta get this.

  2. Is there a non-Deluxe Edition?

I liked the preview, looked great and was pretty fun.

  3. This looks interesting to me, but I’m not sure if I want to pay the price for a hardcover. I may just wait for the trade.

By the way, does this one set the record for highest number of pulls for a hardcore graphic novel? Usually when I pull a hardcover or a paperback, there are usually only like 3 other people pulling it. This has 20-something people pulling it already, and it’s only Monday afternoon!

  4. i have been waiting for this ever since Joker….bring it on

  5. I LOVE the art in this!

  6. I couldn’t look at the preview pages. They hurt my eyes.

  7. I picked this up and cannot wait to get into it. The artwork is amazing! I thought that the cover price was a bit much and they should have offered it in either hard or soft cover not just hard cover, but I am sure if they had done that everyone would have gone the cheaper route. I think it will be a great one-shot.

  8. I was skeptical of the premise at first, but the art is so intriguing, I have to check it out.
