  1. I like Beechen, so I’m gonna try this.

I didn’t check the mini that came out last year though . . .

  2. I am very tentative.  I did not like where the mini ended up or how it got there, but I did like the beginning of it.  Oh well, guess I will give it a shot

  3. @scorpion Masada: Don’t worry, you didn’t miss much. It was okay for a mini but nowhere near as good as the show. Like, the first 3 issue where good, and the last few felt a little weak.

I’m going to pick this up, and hope the story is better this time around.

  4. I’m hoping this will hook me too.  I really like the Beyondversm, and I’d love to see some good detective work to pull me into Terry’s character a bit more.

  5. I thought the mini-series really petered out at the end, and Ryan Benjamin’s art looked way too rushed and scratchy.  So I’m on the fence with this one.

  6. That Superman/Batman Annual #4 by Levitz, with great work by Guedes, was awesome, and I thought it was meant to lead into the mini, so was looking forward to it until I saw Benjamin’s stuff in it, unpulled it after that.

  7. @BCDX97: Yeah, I wasn’t too big on the art. I was kind of hoping they might get a new artist on this book, but hopefully they will change it after the first arch.

  8. Seems I share the majority opinion: OK mini, bad art, might pick it up if I’m in the mood.

  9. Since this has gone digital, I will get it that way to support the new endeavor.

  10. Got this in digital format and loved it. Passingly familiar with the animated series and didn’t read the mini. Just rating this on raw reaction since it is a new start. I like the brooding Bruce in the background and a new JLA. Dug it.

  11. This reminds me of his great Robin stuff. I really liked this and will continue.

Kind of crazy that I got three Batman books on my pull list.

  12. This needs a better artist.

  13. Loved this, and will continue to support it in digital format. i like having a book from DC that i’m only getting digitally, just like Chew from Image
