  1. As great as ‘Batman’ has been I really dig the tone and look of this title. A great time to be reading Batman books, especially with Layman on the way to ‘Detective’ and ‘incorporated’ kicking around too. Something for everyone!

    • Agreed. It is a great time to be a fan of Batman. With “Detective” and “Dark Knight” getting great new writers, the Batman books are outstanding. And this is one of my favs.

  2. I really get this book for Damian. I really wish he had a solo book. Here is the preview….

    • I agree. I started out getting this for Batman, figuring Robin would be the weakest part of the title. But it’s been the complete opposite.

  3. Not feeling this story arc at all so far, hoping it picks up.

  4. Great arc. Hopefully this ends on a high note.

  5. I like to read this series mainly because of Damian it’s a really fun comic over all, but I think Damian should get to make more appearances in other bat-books.

  6. How long until the four Robins get their own book? Hell, I’d read it.

  7. I want to buy the panel of all 4 Robins.

  8. I couldn’t figure out if this was Batman or Iron Man. It was a really quick read too. This story arc was forgettable. But the art was nice!

  9. Issues 1-7 were fantastic but its trailed off since then. I’m not sure if I was watching the Avengers movie or reading this comic because the plot was pretty much the same thing.

  10. Yeah, I wasn’t really feeling this story arc or this issue either. If Damian wasn’t in it I would probably be gone already. When he got thrown threw that Cutlery store window though and he said, “You just threw the wrong kid into the wrong store.” that was worth the price of admission. 😉

  11. Batman has been appearing in iron suits more and more it seems. I really didnt think they’d use the same Macgruber-style nuclear bomb thing as TDKR….please writers, when you borrow an idea, tweak it a bit.

  12. This was alot of fun, too many great moments. Damian talking shit to Terminus when he was dying was just cool and creepy-4/4 POTW

  13. The whole terminus thing was a little weak, but the art and damian make up for a forgettable villain in spades.

  14. Patrick Gleason’s panel featuring the four Robins is reason enough to give this issue a try. Iconic.

  15. I just saw “The Dark Knight Rises” and have a dumb question. I did most of my comic book reading in the 80s so I’m not really familiar with the Bane character. I also know the movies are not 100 percent the same as the comics. So are Bane and Damian related by the bloodline of Ra’s Al Ghul in the comics?

  16. This is a great series when it gets to play to its strengths, Damien’s relationships with his new family. So far this year we have seen great examples of this with Bruce, Alfred and more recently the entire legacy of previous Robin’s. Unfortunately this issue does not explore these areas in favour of a rather generic “countdown to save the city” boombastic finale.
