  1. Don’t normally get this but Immonen x 2, what’s not to like. This promises to be a funny, beautiful book.

Is one shot stories by high profile creators the future of this book, cause I’m ok with that

    • Yeah if this book is a collection of one shot Spidey stories, I’ll be adding it to my pull. I don’t want to worry about continuity or crossovers (other than stuff like Omega Effect), I just want good, fun Spider-Man stories.

  2. Don’t know if I’ll pick this up, might wait till it drops $2 and pick it up digitally. $4 is a lot, have to start CULLING that pull pile.

I was going to reply that Marvel digital comics don’t drop in price but then I checked and indeed they do. It looks like it’s six months after publication, though, against the other publishers’ one month.

Or at least so it seems. Unless it’s just the back issues which filled the gap with the comics which were released digitallly same day as print. Maybe the iFanboys could investigate this.

  3. You know, again, it’s a very slow week for me….and the last time I bought this series I made it my POTW because of the creators.

It’s either this or Vertigo’s one-shot for me….but boy is it tough to pass up Immonen’s.

  4. Spidey and She-Hulk? What’s not to like?!? Should be pretty damned funny!

  5. Worth picking up for the Immomens, fer sure.

  6. This book is a lot of fun so far, I especially like the recap pages, there is always something pretty funny in there.

  7. I don’t get what the point of this comic is if the art isn’t special. It was nothing but awesome varying art styles for 6 issues and this issue comes out and it’s not bad, but it’s not special

  8. Hmm… This was fine, but I guess I wasn’t blown away like I wanted to be.

Man, between this and Legacy, ol’ Shulkie’s not coming off very well this week, huh?

  9. So is this turning into an Immonen book? Cause midtowncomics.com has these two listed for the next two issues….

Which I am down for to be honest. This was a fun issue. Not as funny as I thought it would be AND the fifth issue with Yu was better. But for a slow week and the talent that’s involved here? Fantastic stuff.

    • I wish.

I think next issue is an Ends of the Earth tie-in by Slott. Then a Captain Marvel team-up by the Dodsons

    • @Zeppo: I see the Miss Captain Marvel issue but the next issue looks to be a Strange/Sable/Doom team up. Both issues having the Immonen’s name.

    • Hold on a second….the next issue IS a ‘Ends of the Earth’ tie-in. An epilogue if we’re being more specific. And the creators for the next two issues are:

      #8: Dan Slott/Ty Templeton/Matthew Clark
      #9: Kelly Sue DeConnick/Terry Dodson

      So yeah…nevermind.

  10. Is Joe Mad ever coming back to this title?

    • I dont think so. I think Wells and Mad were working on a Spidey/Wolverine/Elektra team-up, which to put into editor speak became too ‘big’ for this book, so it will now be released as it’s own mini series….if Mad every finishes it.

  11. Thought this issue was very average and it killed my desire to continue the series along with the crossover issue last time and the “crossover” issue coming next month. 2/5 and dropped.

  12. Aside from the art this issue was just bad. I miss Zeb Wells.

  13. Weakest issue I’ve read yet, and still a lot of fun. This is one of my favorite series coming out of Marvel.

  14. You’re all crazy!!! I loved this issue! Then again, I am a huge Stuart Immonen fan, but I thought overall, this was a fun and light-hearted Spidey team-up. Aside from the random tie-in issues, this seems like a great series to give anyone new to comics an enjoyable story (without having to worry about continuity).

  15. I liked this. A Spidey/She-Hulk team up is not something you see everyday. I would like to see more of this please. A Machine Man or Stingray team up perhaps?

  16. The panel where spider-man is holding the recently removed fake Talisman, thinking it would solve the problem. I let out quite the chuckle. This issue was filled with great laugh out loud moments.
