  1. Enjoyed Johns’ run – but I think this is where I step down from the title.
Thought DC/Johns was going to finally fix the Legionnaires, but it just looks like more of the same from the past decade. (Amazing how the Legionnaires are from the future – but they seem to hang around in the present a lot . . .)

  2. After Robinson leaves so do I

  3. This title has been mired in super-crossover hell since its relaunch. The Johns/Manapaul Superboy was fantastic, but everything else has been a tie-in to something else. Sure, I have been reading those something elses (Blackest Night and now Last Stand), but when those end what is this book about? Superboy? The Legion? What kind of stories will they be telling? I have no idea and neither does anyone else, which is a problem 10 issues into your series. I will be on for the next arc, but if this really just a place to stick extra issues for every crossover DC, with a couple of filler pieces in between…. Well, that is not a recipe for long term success.

  4. Bring on the LEGION!

  5. Lovin Last Stand of New Krypton! Really glad I decided to jump onto the Superman line.

  6. Whoops…

  7. I really liked the Braniac story – which despite being decent, didn’t really do anything to move a plot forward – but the rest was just… blah. 2/5 for me.

  8. Great stories, though I wish they would have made the Legion story that started the issue a One-Shot so I could get a little more flushing out of the Legion team being presented…and more Bouncing Boy.

  9. I’m with poopmonster.  I kept hoping for more of the Legion in Adventure Comics.

I’m hoping for a recap from someone on what the Legion has done in the present from the JLA/JSA crossover by Johns and Meltzer.

  10. Since I read this book to get my Legion fix, I’m sorely disappointed when they’re show so little and in such short, stilted story segments.  I don’t read any "Super" books, so none of those storylines or characters appeal to me.

This was my last issue of Adventure Comics.  I’m just going to wait until the new LOSH book comes out to get my Legion fix.

  11. So I really liked the first two stories, but as a new reader I was completely lost during the Awake story.  Did part 1 happen in Adventure comics #8? Any clarification would really be appreciated.

  12. the kryptonian being set up was started in action comics and adventure comics 8.
