And in the hit new JIMMY OLSEN co-feature, Jimmy signs up for a “Win a Date” auction, but much to his surprise, so does his ex, Chloe Sullivan! 1. Yea, I’m not buying Secret Six.

  2. I guess I am buying Secret Six. Anything for you Mr. Cornell.

  3. Paul Cornell is no slouch, but this is worth picking up for the Jimmy Olsen story alone.

  4. If you like Paul Cornell, you’ll like Gail Simone. Either that, or this crossover was made specifically for me, which I’m also perfectly fine with.

  5. Boo! I don’t want to read a series I only read in trades!

Oh well, guess I have no choice.

  6. But Secret Six is great!  It really is.

  7. Well, I guess I am skipping this month

  8. I liked Villains United, so maybe this arc will make me see how much I like Secret Six.

  9. @BCDX97  Seriously! Maybe it’s because I’m not a “DC Guy” but I don’t understand the hate for S6 at ALL…

  10. Secret Six isn’t too bad.  I don’t read it anymore, but it’s not bad.  I shouldn’t have too much trouble reading an issue or two to get all of this story.

Still could careless about Jimmy Olsen though. I can’t wait until next month when they slash that junk and make it a $3 book!

  11. By the way, I just want to say that my comment isn’t meant to be a negative towards Secret Six.

I’ve only read the first two trades of Simone’s run, but it’s really a blast to read. Again it makes me urn to see a freaking Suicide Squad trade, especially it seems that John Ostrander seems to lend a hand to the series from time to time.

  12. I’m actually really excited to see Lex and Secret Six have some adventures. This run is pretty awesome month after month so i have no worries.

  13. @wallythegreenmonster  ditto

  14. I don’t particuarly collect Secret Six, but it keeps sneaking into my stack.  Well played, Ms. Simone.

  15. I don’t like Vandal Savage as a character but I hope this is fun.

  16. @TheNextChampion  Speaking of Suicide Squad, DC is putting out a trade for it next year.

  17. I have but have not yet read the last Sec6 arc, but the book has been fun and the team has had me interested since villians united.  I dont thunk anyone would dislike Gail’s book if they gave it a chance.

  18. @TheGoose: Yeah, they’ve been saying that for like two years. lol

I’ll believe it when I see it. Especially when DC seems to want to make an M rated video game of the team first, before releasing an actual trade of it.

  19. well my shop didn’t get this in this week. Of COURSE! haha will have to go and track this sucker down.

  20. I didn’t LOVE this issue as much as I do the other ones, but that’s not to say it was bad. I’d imagine it has something to do with my lack of Secret Six knowledge and my deep set hatred for stories that finish in another book. Still, Cornell is doing amazing work on this book, and the next issue is set to be great.

  21. This issue had potential, and the android Lois scenes were great, but since when was Deadshot sucha poor shot?  Had issues with the infiltration scenes, and the Olsen issue was just eh.

  22. Not a great fan of this months main feature. I have never followed the SS and don’t know them…therefore the crossover feels like “hey this titles doing well, let’s crossover with a lesser title and boost sales and generate interest. (damn! It worked though!)

Lovin’ Jimmy…like how DC covered their a** on the ’cause your a dude’ bit in the Jimmy story especially after the ‘lesbianism’ comment in the main feature…
