  1. I can’t remember what happened in the last issue… I’m guessing this will disappoint.

    32 pages for $4.99? WTF!

  2. I’m guessing about the price that it’s because it’s the final issue. Anyway, I can’t believe it’s actually ending. I want an ending that ties up everything, something that will be good and satisfying.

It’s been a great series, can’t wait to see how it concludes.

  3. this is probably the most anticpated book at my local store, they are throwing a party in celebration of the whole book, including people dressing up and a large Nerf gun battle.

they have added 10 extra pages of story to the final issue, which might account for the increaesed price

  4. Yeah, this issue is going to be bigger than normal. More than ten pages even. I think I heard final tally came out to 38 pages, so the $5 is actually a deal given the normal methodology behind pricing…

  5. I’m glad to hear it’s bigger.

@Leigh – That’s awesome and extremely nerdy.  Maybe 100 Bullets LARPing will catch on.  What is the name of the store and where is it located?

  6. This is the book that brought me back into the comics shop on a regular basis. I’m awaiting its end with very mixed emotions. Any guesses on whom the man about to be burned up on that Atlantic City wharf? Could it be Graves? Why? Who else could be under that coat? I’m hoping this goes out with a bang (sorry)!

  7. *sighs* I wish I was never trade waiting on this. Cause this has been fantastic to read. Thank you library for having all the current volumes released.

  8. With Y ending last year and now 1oo bullets this year the Vertigo books of my teens are gone. This makes me sad.

  9. @ Brandon

the party is thrown by the store staff with out the knowledge of the owner so I can’t say the name.

  10. I’m pretty stoked for this book. When I got back into comics in my late teens, this book had just started. It’s one of the first non-superhero comics I really got into and loved. This books opened the door to so many other genres of comics for me……as well as the vertigo universe.

I’ll be very sad to see it end, but I’m very much looking forward to finding out how it wraps up.

  11. this was a relativley satisfying ending.  we learn who the man that got burned in Atlantic was, we learn where graves got the attaches from and why, and all the major players are dealt with in one way or another.  i look foreward to going through and rereading the entire thing over the summer and seeing the whole wide tapestry.  the end of this is like the last page of Y, where it takes a moment to seep in (which isnt quite as good as the ending of preacher but, then again, what could be?  that book was just perfect in every aspect)  im sad to see this go, but i think Azzarello and Risso told their story.  im going to miss this just like i miss JMS spidey, or Ennis punisher; theyve been with me since i started collecting…

  12. I’m with Mikeandzod21 on this. I’m going to re-read the entire series to see how it builds itself up to this point. The more I think about the ending the more stunned I am. It seems to, on my first read through, change a lot of my perception of what it was all about. I’m sad it’s all over with. It would be a cheat if Azz & Risso came back with more later, but I’m not ready to say good-bye. Vaya con dios, Dizzy Cordova & Co.

  13. The is the book that kept me into comics and introduced me to Vertigo. I’m sad to see it go. Vic was right it could only end in tears.

  14. One of the best endings to a series I’ve ever read.

  15. amen
