My biggest problem with this series is how incredibly fast each issue reads. It was hard enough to justify buying the book on a monthly basis when it first started coming out and was on schedule. I dropped this title about 5 times in the 10 years it was coming out because it felt like I could read it by flipping through it. This issue did nothing to dissuade me from that mindset. I did read the entire series from beginning to end in 8 days so I could get this references. It was an incredibly solid ending. I feel that everyone got what the deserved in the end.I knew that Dizzy was going to be the one to take out Lono, especially after he beat her ass earlier in the arc. I loved the closing page, and it's take on Mary holding a dead Jesus. I think this was about as happy an ending as you could get from this book though. The fact that anyone survived is amazing. I've never been a Risso fan, but he did a great job with this issue. The climactic deaths were really well done. I liked how Azz went dialogueless on some pages to let Risso shine when he needed to. It was an appropriate capstone to this series. 8/10
