Is there anything Skottie Young can’t make awesome?
I want to see Skottie Young do some bible stories. That would freak me out. Jesus by Skottie Young!
skottie young: “when harry met sally”
it’s a challenge, mothafuckah!
“I’ve seen The Exorcist about a 150 times AND IT KEEPS GETTING FUNNIER..EVERY…TIME…I…SEE….IT!”
I’m not sure about McDaid’s Darkseid, but WOW is that some fantastic Kirby Tech!
“167 times”
And this is why I should never quote from memory. 🙂
The Sendak tribute piece is great…and sad.
reminds me a lot of this classic:

@mark – I have that hanging on my wall. And it is a classic.
Skottie Young is always amazing.
I’m pretty sure if I stare at the Spider-Man sketch long enough I am going to get kicked in the face. I’m a sucker for perspective shots like that.
Awesome batch this week. So many good ones. But my pick would be Dan McDaid’s Superman, Batman and Darkseid. Fantastic.
Evan Shaner’s Sendak tribute is pretty great too.
you know what i want? a skottie young tribute to MCA. i’d pick that up in a heartbeat.
Awesome sketch, but, does anyone else think that Brienne is too pretty? 🙂
Yeah, they make a point in the book how ugly she is supposed to be. At the very least, her lips should be like 2x bigger, her hair greasier, and probably a bad nose.
It looks like it’s more based on the TV version.
I want to see a Ragdoll mini series written by Gail Simone with art by Skottie Young… it’s a nice dream to have.
The Sendak tribute & Beetlejuice are my picks. And the expression on Supergirl’s face is also superbly done.
Skottie Young awesome as ever. Also digging the Batman and Supergirl sketch – very nice. The Maurice Sendak tribute is very nicely done, agree that it is great and sad.

If DC isn’t working the phones to get Dustin Weaver on a Batman book, there’s something wrong with them.
Also, I want a Gabe Hardman Pokemon ongoing.
Im really loving the Batman and Supergirl piece…. and all that negative space on the Spider-Man sketch was the first thing to bowl me over in this week’s sketch-up!
Hardman can draw anything!
Scottie Young is AMAZING!!!!!! Now I want him to draw a Beetlejuice MINI !!!
