Our favorite podcaster (and former iFanboy columnist) Tom Katers is back with a new podcast!
The former host of Tom vs… and former co-host of Around Comics seems to have returned to podcasting for a limited engagement, a new show that is set to run for the next week:

Tom Katers is one of the funniest guys in podcasting and one of the best and we’re thrilled to see him back in the game, even if it’s only for a limited engagement.
So sit back in a comfy chair, crack open your beverage of choice, and settle in as your (probably) Drunk Uncle Tom spends a week in Metropolis with Jimmy Olsen.

We all know the real reason Tom is back to restart the “Death to the Sentry” movement
Ha! I just was thinking that! The other item had me thinking about that POW podcast where they talked about “Sentry Fallen Sun”, and I had to pull over my car because I was laughing so hard I was crying.
I can still hear Tom screaming about the dog
I can’t even count how many times I’ve gone back and listened to that podcast. Ron is great on that one too. “Rogue!?!”
Now I need to go listen to that podcast. I also remember when Tom put a hit out on The Sentry on Around Comics.
Anyway, great to have him back, even for a short while. Tom vs… is dearly missed.
Truly there is no better comics related podcasting news I could have received today.
Yeah, I had to laugh about the timing on Tom & Bob’s respective returns… Oh, the universe…

The only podcast I miss as much as Tom is QPAW.
Oh man do I miss QPAW. Blankity blank was the shit. Tom back is great news. Miss around comics. Miss tom and Skottie young. Oh man dosen’t get funnier than those guys.
I caught myself singing the Blankity Blank theme song the other day.
Oh , man – Around Comics with Golden Era was Tom and Skottie on the show – every episode was absolutely hysterical. That was like a perfect storm of podcasting.
ummmm… I meant “The Golden Era of Around Comics was with Tom and Skottie on the show.”
🙁 once you have to go back and correct a sentence with “golden era” in it, you become acutely aware of the fact that you should never refer to anything as a “golden era.”
This is very good news.
Tom Katers and Sal Abbinanti need to do an ongoing podcast.
That is my Christmas wish.

I could listen to Uncle Sal talk shit all day every day. He’s like the comic book version of Don Rickles.
