‘The Wolverine’ International Trailer Spells Everything Out for You

The Wolverine international trailer knows how busy you are. It knows how many great movies you’re looking forward to in the next few months. So it’s done a bit of an international trailer kindness in spelling out most of the movie for you. If you hadn’t sussed out the premise from previous trailers, this’ll school you on it like Syd Field breaking down Three Days of the Condor.

The rest of the movie is out in July.

  1. I think that’s the most I’ve ever heard him say “Bub”

  2. Wow….You weren’t kidding. I feel so much calmer going into this than I was after watching any of the X Men Origins: Wolverine trailers

  3. My thoughts were, in order:

I like how they’re going old school with Lady Viper and Silver Samurai together.
No interest in the “I can’t heal anymore” plot.
    Ninjas!

  4. What’s great is if they every make a Wolverine 3 they could use this as the, “Previously on Wolverine.”

  5. I really just can’t get excited for this.

  6. Looks really lame, to be honest. So sad, I mean the character is great, the actor is great and gives his all to the role, but somehow that still doesn’t equal a good movie.
When they reboot they should really get a big name director with a vision for this. Enough with the mediocre x-movies.

    • He captures the essence of the character perfectly. “Mediocre” I don’t think I’d plaster on the whole X movie franchise, I mean likes and dislikes galore throughout but First Class was a good movie & I enjoyed things about all of em'(continuity aside, but it fits in they’re movie continuity). In the end we all know Marvel Studios will have to get em back to please the hardcore fans the most. After First Class, I think Days of the Future Past will be solid, Apocalypse fits that premise and the cast is good. Benicio Del Toro is gonna play Apocalypse and Thanos.

  7. looks fun to me! better then origins at least.

  8. I saw a trailer last night for another Hugh Jackman movie, called Prisoners, and it seemed to give away most of the movie, too. Even if I hear good things about The Wolverine, I’ll still likely wait to rent it. Like someone above said, I just can’t get excited for this.

  9. I must be really hard to make a good Wolverine movie. Like SO HARD. Hollywood has tried twice. Looks like two whiffs. If they can’t do it no one can!

  10. The more trailers that come out the less interest I have in it. It doesn’t look bad just…..boring.

  11. Remember when Darren Aronofsky was going to direct this? That would have been cool.

  12. So annoying when they give away too much of the plot in trailers. However I honestly think this will be a pretty good Wolverine movie.
