Next month, Uncanny X-Men is getting a new #1 issue, for the first time ever. It must be in the air. Written by Kieron Gillen with art by Carlos Pacheco, this is the story of Cyclops’ team, who is staying on Utopia, and is likely much more stodgy than his Canadian rival’s team. Maybe I’m just projecting. Anyway: Mr. Sinister.
Carry on, and look for this on November 2. I don’t believe there are plans for Storm and Magneto to be tiny in the actual book, regardless of what the cover looks like.
Also, Ron isn’t going to be quitting comics, as he promised long ago, but feel free to make your jokes below. We’ll be making them on the podcast come the proper time.

Pacheco art looks good. I loves me some good Mr. Sinister stories. Will have to see what Wolverine and the X-Men #1 looks like before picking a side.

Count me in! I just spent the past 2 months reading all the main X-Men stories from Grant Morrison’s New X-Men until now. I’ve tried to crack the X titles before in the past, but could never get over the hump, but Uncanny X-force has excited me enough to give it another go… and now I’m hooked. I’ll be pulling Uncanny, Wolverine and the X-men, and X-Force for the foreseeable future. Ron would be proud…

I’m still on the fence about this title. Frank D’Armata’s colors really aren’t helping either. I tolerate him with Invincible Iron Man because he actually makes Larocca’s art pretty good but paired with Pacheco I’m just not feeling it. Pacheco’s pencil’s looked a whole lot better on Ultimate Thor. I just don’t think him and D’Armata are a good match.
I actually just listened to the podcast where Ron claimed they would never reboot Uncanny. He said that 5 years ago. He also complained about Marvel’s dual numbering system. At least that went away.
Thank God my favorite X villain is back. I love Mr. Sinister
