PREVIEW: Punisher MAX #20

If you’ve been reading Jason Aaron and Steve Dillon’s Punisher MAX, then you know two things:

1. It’s been super fantastic.

2. Shit’s about to go down.

Frank Castle might be down and out but he’s still The Punisher and he’s about to run headlong into the deadly dispute between The Kingpin and his wife (along with Elektra). It’s been bloody good fun and if you’re like me and can’t wait for the next chapter, check out this preview:

Comments

  1. Love this book. Reading in hardcovers now, since the stories are keepers.

  2. Someone got augmented…

  3. oh, yeah, this book is fantastic. Is just me or does it look like Elekrata cut the punisher’s eyes out?

    • I can’t tell if his eyes are swollen shut or if they are missing. If they are missing then this issue is going to be more outrageous then the Bullseye fight. I can’t wait.

  4. I hope this book goes for 100 issues with these two creators. The only real problem is the punisher’s age.

I’d love for them to do more flashback stories. I wanna see what frank was doing in this universe in 1982 and 1995. There’s a ton of potential there. Someone get this message to the bearded one.

  5. Haha I think the age is the best part!! That issue showing young and old Punisher a few months ago was so good and really showed what Dillion is all about.

  6. This series is one of the best depictions of The Punisher in YEARS.

  7. This is the best Marvel book right now.

  8. Steve Dillon hates drawing feet. Next Dillon comic you read, count how many feet you see. Probably about 5.5.

  9. These have really been great stories. Aaron has been a worthy successor to Ennis.

  10. I know i’m in the minority here but I really can’t stand the way Steve Dillon draws faces. Oh well to each their own.
