June 1, 2012 7:05 am I have no problem with them making Alan Scott gay but I agree with Skeets. The way this was pumped up I thought we were going to have a major character come out as gay, like Superboy, one of the Robins, or maybe even Wonder Woman.

November 18, 2011 12:42 pm @KenOchalek. Good analysis. I too think SHIELD and Deadpool MAX will end when the current or yards are wrapped up. X factor, AA, and Thunderbolts will probably stick around awhile longer. Daken will most likely be scrapped for a lot of the reasons you listed. The only one that could go either way is Generation Hope.

November 16, 2011 6:25 pm Noooooooo! What is Marvel doing? Take away Daken or one of the 20 Avengers titles but not Punisher Max. But seriously what is with Marvel and all of these changes? The 3.99 price point, the large layoffs, and the canceling of well loved, but poorly performing titles. Are they trying to fatten up their bottom line before the Disney acquisition is complete?

November 15, 2011 6:57 pm I may be free to do those things but a little thing called being "polite" is why I don't insult you or anyone else on this site. And when I feel insulted, like when people have a legitimate complaint about comic book pricing or the portrayal of women in the medium but that complaint is dismissed as being out of hand, it is nice to have the disagreeing party be a little polite and say something like, I don't know, "I understand where you are coming from but I disagree." Just showing a tiny bit of courtesy and understanding for the opposing viewpoint can go a long way in preventing any feelings from getting hurt.

November 15, 2011 6:48 pm I can't tell if his eyes are swollen shut or if they are missing. If they are missing then this issue is going to be more outrageous then the Bullseye fight. I can't wait.
