NINJAK Strikes Again in the Pages of X-O MANOWAR #5

Lee Garbett? Count us in.

Comments

  1. I hope Cary Nord stays on for art duties….

  2. A cross over already? Boo.

    • It’s technically not since Ninjak doesn’t have his own book right now, but I get your disappointment. I didn’t like it either but I was convinced in an interview CBR did with Vindetti.

  3. I don’t mind a crossover now and then. A company like Marvel seems to do crossovers like changing toilet paper rolls, though. It turned me off from Marvel comics. Valiant is trying to revive its line of characters and do enjoyable stories.
It think its cool that Ninjak is popping up in #5. I’d like to see this happen once in awhile.
I guess what I’m really turned off by are “event” crossovers like AvsX. Marvel does good movies, though.

  4. I hope this is only a break issue for Cary Nord.

  5. I’ll check this one out. I was pretty darn underwhelmed by #1 of this series (it felt like about the first third of a first issue). While Cary Nord is indeed a great artist, so is Lee Garbett. Can’t wait to see this.

  6. I’ve been having a lot of fun with “X-O Manowar” so far. It’s a straightforward sci-fi action comic with great art. I loved the original “Ninjak” series, although I think that was because of the great Joe Quesada art.
