It says a lot that DC now has me pulling 5-6 books a week from them thanks to the re-launch. Green Lantern, Demon Knights, Batgirl, Superboy, and Batwoman are going to knock my socks off for sure.
BQ: Not only I’m going to NYCC, but I’m going my first year with a press pass! Can’t wait to check the panels, do interviews, and hit a couple of after-parties, particularly Rock Comic Con.
Crazy as this sounds, being a new DC reader and all, I’m most excited for two Bat ladies, Batgirl #2 and Batwoman #2. I enjoyed the first issues so much. Batman and Robin is on my hot seat for possible dropping.

On my pull list: Batwoman, Demon Knights & Frankenstein. i’ll likely get Batgirl #2 as well, and i’ll take a glance at the Vertigo Anthology too.
Batowman, My Greatest Adventure (Weird Worlds was so much fun!), and Shade are the top books on my list. Batman and Robin are on the chopping block this week.
Not going to NYCC…. Don’t know what I’ll be doing, though – it’s only Monday!

It’s a third week book. (That’s why only 12 books came out in the third week.) They released the first issue ahead of schedule to kick off the relaunch.

Big week for me – seven books (eight if you count Warehouse 13 #2 for my kid). I always look forward to Northlanders and The Unwritten, but Demon Knights #2 looks really fun too.
BQ: NYC is a long way away from Indiana. Catch you guys at C2E2?
BQ: I am going to have to skip NYCC this week. I’ll be celebrating my daughter’s 7th birthday instead, but I fully plan to attend C2E2 this spring.
For me, the second week of the relaunch was the one with the most sucessful titles, so this week I’m excited to see if Batwoman, Demon Knights & Frankenstein keep up their excellence, as well as Ressurection Man and Grifter building on their promising beginnings. Will be keeping up with Batman and Robin as well.
I am super excited about the Shade mini, though part of me says wait for the collected edition. This, more rational part of myself also reminds me that waiting would give me time to finally finish off the Starman Omnibuses . . .
Unwritten is always a highlight of my comics reading, and I have been enjoying the current story arc very much — can’t wait to see how it ends.
Hmmm, looks like another all DC week. Oh wait, forgot about FF and New Avengers — that probably says something right there . . .
BQ: was originally going to skip the convention this year (went the last three), but I was looking at the guest list this weekend, and, well . . . if I can still get a Saturday ticket, i’ll be there. If not, it’ll still be the last weekend of the Film Festival (I really wish the schedules for these things wouldn’t overlap).
Very light week. I mean, ‘pre-DC relaunch’ type of light. Only 3 books….I might see if my LCS has extra copies of OMAC or Penguin: Pride and Prejudice and see how they are.

BQ: I will not be at NYCCC. I will be at a good friend’s bachelor party, which is basically the same thing as NYCCC.

Survival of the Fittest and Ultimate Spidey are probably top of the list, although the Batbooks, Shalvey’s Northlanders and a new Punisher Max HC are also a pretty good bunch of reasons to get me to the store.

BQ: Finding a bigger shelf that will support the Identity Crisis Absolute I forgot I ordered.
4 books for me this week, Amazing Spider-Man, FF, Batman and Robin and Mr. Terrific. dropped New Avengers. Mr. Terrific will most likely be my first New2 casualty, but I’m going to read at least the first arc.
BQ: No, I am too poor for that kind of thing. I will be home, reading comics and playing with my daughter.

BQ: While I will be enjoying October/Halloween style action, I’m seriously jealous of those going to NYCC, especially the iFanboy party.
My venture into DC continues. I am very excited Suicide Squad, Batwoman, Superboy and Demon Knights and I am going to buy but am on the fence for Batgirl and Green Lantern. 6 Books not bad.
As for the weekend, I will not make it to the NYCC but I will be raising a stein at Oktoberfest in Kitchener Ontario.
I’ll be there on Sunday! Looking forward to the Kirkman spotlight panel, X-Men regenesis panel, and meeting my man-crush Claudio Sanchez at the BOOM! booth
