New Comics for 01/21/09 ‘ain’t got time to bleed

Get to pulling this Wednesday’s books, and then let us know what you’re looking forward to most, what you’re dropping, what others should be buying and anything you’re thinking. Be heard, because we need you, iFanbase!

What are the iFanboys buying? Check it out here – Conor, Ron, Josh, and Gordon the Intern. And what about the rest of the staff? What are they buying? Dave, Jim, Paul, Mike, and Sonia.

After two light weeks in a row a bit of a bigger week, but still not an overwhelmingly huge one. That’s kind of scary. What’s coming down the road, one wonders.

This week, Dark Avengers starts and The Mighty Avengers and Dan Slott get one issue to hook me otherwise I won’t be adding a book so much as replacing one. This week is also the last shot for Justice League of America.

So far I’m 50/50 with these Faces of Evil one shots, the Soloman Grundy issue was kinda boring but the Prometheus issue was really good, so on the strength of that I’m going to pick up this week’s Deathstroke spotlight, something I was not going to do before last week.

But what I’m most excited about is Final Crisis: Superman Beyond #2 and its fantastical Grant Morrison action in 3-D!

This week I have the Pick of the Week!

Bonus Question:
What’s your favorite movie quote?

Comments

  1. Decent size week for me. Looking forward to Dark Avengers and Green Lantern the most.

BQ: "The price is wrong, bitch!" – Happy Gilmore

  2. JR Jr. back on Amazing Spider-Man is pretty hard to beat for my most anticipated book.  I’m also looking forward to Spawn and, because of Jimski’s railing against it, I can’t help myself from checking out Ruins.  Sorry.

BQ: I’m in a gorilla suit, that means I don’t give a fuck!

    Sorry… again.

  3. Both Avengers book’s I am waiting to here feedback on.

Loved that Prometheus issue too Conor. Fun stuff, if only JLA was that good.

  4. Only two books for me this week, Spider-Man Noir and the Powers HC vol. 2. I only had two books last week as well. A storm must be brewing.

  5. There are so many movies I love and so many good lines in them, unfortunately I can’t remember most of them until I watch the movie.  I would have to say that my favourite quote of movies I’ve watched recently is "You’re like a chatty Cathy doll! Except I wouldn’t pull the string out, you would! Na na na!" or something along those lines.  From the movie Planes, Trains and Automobiles.

Not a big week for me in comics, thankfully.  I’m really looking forward to Dark Avengers though.

  6. Yet another short week for me. I checked and see what next week might bring and my wallet just cried. So all the books I want come out next week. Hooray! As for this week:

Faces of Evil: Deathstroke (Gonna see if this is any good cause I like Deathstroke)

Green Lantern #32 (More Blue Lantern goodness)

Punisher: Frank Castle MAX #66 (Really stupid and pointless name change. But with that aside we got a new arc by Duane Swiercyznski and I hope this is just as good as the previous arc. Plus it takes place in my hometown, Philly!)

BQ: SHUT UP!!!! SHUT UP, SHUT UP, SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!! (Jack Nicholson in Mars Attacks)

  7. A nice trim stack of six books for me this week: Spidey; Final Crisis Supes 3D; Green Lantern; Robin; X-Men Annual; Tiny Titans (aw yeah!).

BQ: "Don’t fuck with me, fellas. This ain’t my first time at the rodeo!" Faye Dunaway as Joan Crawford in "Mommie Dearest".

  8. A lot of books I’m getting this week are potentially on the chopping block. . .Dark Avengers, Mighty Avengers, Supergirl, and Xmen Legacy.  I already dropped Green Lantern; I’ll catch up in trade if I decide I missed it enough.

Definitely sticking with Black Lightning: Year One and Astonishing X-Men.

BQ: Are you crazy?  The fall ‘ll probably kill ya.

  9. Not a big week for me.

BQ: Even though a lot of people think it’s a corny line, I love it at the end of Blade where he says, "Some mother fuckers always try to ice skate up hill." It’s probably not my most favorite line, but it’s one of them. I also like, "It’s only a model."

  10. Stoaked On: Green Lanter, Guardians of the Galaxy, & Battlefields

Kinda Excited For: Captain America Theater of War: America The Beautiful, Dark Avengers, Supergirl

Suspect: Justice League of America, Mighty Avengers, Faces of Evil: Deathstroke

    Dropped: Astonishing X-Men

B.Q. Toooo many. But one off the top of my head: "You don’t want to suck dick at eating pussy."

  11. I am most curious about the start of Milligan’s run on Hellblazer and the fact X-Factor is on the track to becoming amazing again.

BQ: "Okay, so we drink to our legs!"

  12. Hm. Very small week for me. This is becoming more and more normal, though.

    Black Lightning Year One #02
    FOE Deathstroke #01
    Robin #182
    ASM #584
    Dark Avengers #01
    Mighty Avengers #21

    BQ: Too many too name.

  13. Indeed a lighter week.  But its good, since Sups 3D is a little more expensive than other books.  Looking forward to it.

BQ:  Tough one.  But first that comes to mind, "Do the chickens have large talons?"

  14. X-Men Legacy!!! Rogue is the entire reason I decided to add it to my pull list and it better be good.

BQ: Bob didn’t really do heroin. In fact, he hated needles.

  15. Most excited about Dark Avengers and Spidey.

    Amazing Spider-Man #584

Captain America Theater Of War America The Beautiful

    Dark Avengers #1

Dark Avengers Blank Cover Ed Dkr (Pp #844) #1

Dark Avengers Granov Var Dkr #1

Dr Doom Masters Of Evil #1

    Guardians Of Galaxy #9

    Mighty Avengers #21

    Spider-Man Noir #2 (OF 4)

    Uncanny X-Men Annual #2

BQ: That’s an easy one: “We have clearance Clarence? “ Rodger, Rodger. What’s our vector Victor?” lol I love it!

  16. slow week for me but its about time for the Supes 3D.

bq: you either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain

  17. Most looking forward to the Might Avengers and dark Avengers this week, along with Lone Ranger and Tonto #2. Not the huge week i was expecting, ten books is pretty average for me. Makes me wonder what’s going on.

BQ: Pretty much anything from Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang.

  18. Really light week, which I’m kind of grateful for, only Green Lantern and Angel for me.

Hardest BQ ever: "His name was Robert Paulson!"

  19. I’m really looking forward to Thunderbolts, Dark Avengers and Green Lantern.  The Deathstroke one-shot will be a game-time decision.  I also think I’m going to pull the plug on Moon Knight and Hellblazer.  Moon Knight has been bad for a while and this new direction doesn’t excite me at all.  As for Hellblazer, it just never really connected with me.

BQ- So many choices.  Today’s choice would be "Fill your hand, you son of a bitch" from True Grit.  Ask me again tomorrow and it’ll be something else entirely.

  20. Yikes. Damn you Marvel…you can’t space out the X-books throughout the month and give my wallet some consistency!?

It’s X-Men Week which means I’m picking up:

Uncanny, Legacy, Uncanny Annual, maybe X-Factor, Manifest Destiny (for real this time), Tales of TMNT, Spidey-Noir, Robin, Battlefield: Night Witches, Faces of Evil Deathstroke, and might give Amazing Spidey another shot.

BQ: Hardest BQ ever. I’ll go with my most recent favorite line which is "It’s ok that mine’s not movie quality!"

That’s a huge week for me. I only ever really have like 4 books.

  21. Avatar photo PymSlap (@alaska_nebraska) says:

Bring me 1). Amazing Spidey’s "Character Assassination," 2). the new issue of Green Lantern, and 3). the Powers collection. New Ways to Die left me a little cold, I can’t put my finger on it, it sure wasn’t due to the loss of blood suffered by the Arach-knight. I like my comic book dust-ups splashed with the red, red vino.

BQ – "Are you ready for that? Checking into a Vegas hotel under a phony name with intent to commit capital fraud and a head full of acid? I sure hope so." – Dr. Gonzo

  22. Looking forward to Superman Beyond and GL.  I’m passing on these Dark Reign books.  Marvel is not suckering me into buying more books for six months before they change them all again with the next event.  I’m not falling for it this time.  No sir.

BQ: "Fuck it Dude.  Let’s go bowling."

  23. MLK day didn’t push the books back to Thursday? Okay…

Looking forward to Superman Beyond and X-Men Legacy.

BQ: "GET OUT OF MY MIND, ALL OF YOU!…Go back to where you belong." – David Bowie in The Man Who Fell to Earth, said to a wall of television sets, each tuned to a different channel.

  24. Top 3

    Green Lantrn

    Amazing Spider Man

    Uncannny X Men

    BQ: "use the force Luke"

  25. Avatar photo Paul Montgomery (@fuzzytypewriter) says:

    Conan’s coming out!  BUY IT!

BQ: "My name is Inigo Montoya.  You killed my father.  Prepare to die!"

  26. Only Green Lantern and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.

    BQ: "YipeeKayeah Motherf***er!"

  27. I’m in on the two Avengers books, Guardians, the X-Men space miniseries, Astonishing, Uncanny if it’s also this week.

BQ: "Heineken. F*** that sh**! It’s Pabst Blue Ribbon" (as voiced by Dennis Hopper as Frank Booth in the unforgetable Blue Velvet".

  28. just Green Lantern and Dark Avengers for me.

BQ: "Call it, Friendo."  Javier Bardem as Anton Shigir in No Country for Old Men

  29. Amazing Spider-Man #584

Yes, I admit is.  I am one of those dudes who wasn’t a Spiderman reader until they started Brand New Day.  So sue me.  When I was a kid, I could only afford to keep up with either DC Comics or Marvel, and I picked DC.  But I’m a big boy with a paycheck now so it’s time to finally branch out into Marvel (just a little anyway).

    Robin #182

I couldn’t even finish reading last month’s issue of Robin.  I never really got into reading Robin’s solo exploits all too much, I usually only bought it during crossovers, but there are only a few more issues left (in this volume anyway) so I might as well see how things are going to pan out.

    Supergirl #37

I wonder if Superwoman is really Lois Lane, what are the odds of that?

    Wolverine Origins #32

Time to jump on the bandwagon…

Star Wars Knights Of Old Republic #37

I hear that this might actually start getting better.  I am tired of Clone Wars being my only Star Wars title, I might even start watching the new TV show they got on Cartoon Network.  That is how desperate I am for some Star Wars in my life!!

    Punisher Frank Castle Max #66

A good place to start branching into something that isn’t Batman or Superman related…?  I sure hope so!!

I am like so in the mood to read some comics this week, and I still got a few extra dollars left over from Christmas, I think I might grab a couple Vertigo trades also.  That Essential Wolverine isn’t looking too bad neither.  My local comic shop owner is really going to appreciate my business this week, wow…!

  30. Avatar photo PymSlap (@alaska_nebraska) says:

RE: Coltrane68 . . . BQ. I love that movie! I almost said "One welldressed f–kin’ man knows where your f–kin’ cute little butt’s hidin’, huh. You stupid f–k. F–k with me, man." but the Pabst quote’s the best line for sure.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qf-Gn0bXPCc

  31. Green Lantern and not much else it seems… light weeks are good

BQ: "Ah man, I don’t do dogs" "what happened?" "I had a bad experience" "Wait, what happened?" "I SAID I HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE, shit they say *I’m* deaf" – The Italian Job

  32. I’m most looking forward to Spider Man Noir and Spawn. I’m on the fence with Mighty Avengers and Dark Avengers.

BQ: "You can turn an Easter Egg Hunt into a Buttfuckathon."—P. Diddy as Maurice in Made.

  33. I think i’m gonna switch to trades on mighty, the team is cool but no one can tell me what their purpose is.

BQ: "Ok now where’s moron, moron’s here…" -Tommy Boy

  34. Super light week for me, 2 books.

     "They call me Mr. Tibbs."

  35. light week for me. 5 books which includes invincible from last week

  36. looking foward to ASM 584

BQ: "Milk was a bad choice"

           -Anchorman

  37. Looks like I’ll be getting two issues of Amazing Spider-Man since my shop was sold out by 5pm last week, along with Night Witches #3, Supergirl, and Star Trek: Countdown. I’ll give Mighty Avengers a chance.
I’d like to get Superman Beyond, but I was so lost in the last issue. $4.50 is a lot to pay for confusion.

BQ: I love far too many movies to narrow this down.

  38. Zero books this week.  ZERO!  I though Madman Atomic #13 was coming out, but I guess now.

BQ: "Go get your shine box."

  39. This bonus question is literally too much for me to deal with.

But so far, of all these, up there MeanOldPig with "OK, so we’ll drink to our legs" touched me.

God, I have so many, but also can’t remember so much!

I might have this slightly wrong, but "Oh Johnny. I had forgot you were still here.  You may go."

  40. BQ: Dave’s not here!

  41. Dark Avengers and Superman Beyond 3-D (just because its finaly freakin out.  now we need to see the last two issues of Legion of 3 Worlds).

"I want you to hit me, as hard as you can" – Fight Club

  42. I’m looking forward to the Lone Ranger book and Mighty Avengers.

I also can’t wait to hear/read the feedback on Dark Avengers.

  43. "There was a bit a nastiness last night, wasn’t there? A bit of extreme nastiness?!"

"We all got it comin’ kid."

"Cuz I bought it in Japan."

  44. ASM 584

BQ:"Say ‘what’ again! Say ‘what’ again! I dare you! I double dare you, motherfucker! Say ‘what’ one more God-damned time!" (Samuel L. Jackson – Pulp Fiction)

  45. BQ:  Bitches leave

    Robocop

  46. Shoot this mothafucka!

actually it’s probably good evening miss lane…

  47. Dude, EVERYTHING IN MY STACK IS GONNA BE AWESOME!

Except maybe Astonishing X-Men and X-Factor, both of which are on the chopping block.

Still, I’m most excited for Kingbreaker and War Machine.

The bonus question is going to make my brain explode. Too. Many. Movies. Too. Many. Quotes.

  48. "We’re going about this all wrong!  This Mr. Stay Puft, he’s okay.  He’s a sailor, he’s in New York.  We get this guy laid we shouldn’t have any trouble!"

Really anything from either Ghostbusters.  I could go on forever.

  49. "All I got in this world is my balls and my word and i don’t break ’em from nobody"

  50. Green Lantern and Avengers.

BQ: Born with a steering wheel in his handand lead in his foot.
    I am the Nightrider!
    I am the chosen one,
    the mighty hand of vengeance…
… sent down to strike the unroadworthy!
I’m hotter than a rolling dice.
Step right up, chum, and watch the kid…
…lay down a rubber road right to freedom! (¡MAD MAX!)

    @cormano – agreed!

  51. ‘You are a smelly pirate hooker’

‘I dont know how to put this but I’m kind of a big deal’

‘I’m in a glass case of emotion!’

‘I’m gonna punch you in the ovary, that’s what I’m gonna do. A straight shot. Right to the baby maker’

‘Baxter! Bark twice if your in Milwaukee’

‘If you want to throw down fisticuffs, fine. I’ve got Jack Johnson and Tom O’Leary waiting for ya, right here’

‘I read somewhere their periods attract bears. Bears can smell the menstruation’

Is this Anchorman or just my life in general? You decide.

  52. LOL Champ, Anchorman is awesome. "Milk was a bad choice."

Lookin’ forward to the Deathstroke one-shot (I would definitely buy a Deathstroke ongoing), part 3 of Night Witches & Green Lantern.

BQ: "King Kong ain’t got shit on me!" Denzel Washington. Training Day.

  53. bq: "stop eating my sesame cake!" – congo

  54. "Do or do not, there is no try…"

  55. Dark Avengers #1

    Faces Of Evil Deathstroke #1

Garth Ennis Battlefields Night Witches #3 (OF 3)

    Green Lantern #37

    Mighty Avengers #21

    Robin #182

    BQ: "bell, bell… butterfly"

  56. @robbydzwonar, I was not aware there was still a bandwagon for Wolverine: Origins. I thought the wheels fell off of that around issue 3…

  57. @josh: Love the Tim Burton Batman quite. Michael Keaton was awesome in that.

AXM 28 is going to need to blow me away with something awesome otherwise it’s gone. I miss Joss.

Dark Avengers 1 could be interesting but it better not be something stupid like clones or robots or some rubbish like that.

Mighty Avengers might also get the chop if 21 isn’t anything interesting.

Pretty sure I’m most looking forward to Robin 182. 181 was outstanding and this has POW written all over it for me.

So many BQ’s to choose from.

"We’re gonna need a bigger boat"

"He’s pulls a knife, you pull a gun. He puts one of yours in the hospital you put one of his in the morgue. That’s the Chicago way."

"Deserves got nothin’ to do with it."

  58. My comics of interest are: Superman Beyond, Supergirl, Superman/Batman Annual, Green Lantern(already?),F.O.E. Deathstroke and 100 Bullets(only one more left)

  59. for some reason deathstroke and dark avengers interest me the most, and dont forget that the kid is being born in x factor

bonus question: too many movie to decide, but my new favorite one is
    V for vendetta
what was done to me was monstrous
    so they created a monster

    Wolverine
    well stop him
i hope sdo because we spent a billion dollars making him indestructable

  60. BQ: "So if you should spy on a naked man in the wood, run as if the Devil himself were after you!"

  61. "I have already given him the best – knowing he is German and would take it anyway." Carl from Casablanca

  62. Most excited for ASM.  This arc is going to wrap up a story that’s been carried through over 30+ issues!

@Tork – damn straight.  That movie has some of the best lines ever.  "We’ll always have Paris."

BQ –  love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for 12 hours. When it was all over, I walked up. We didn’t find one of ’em, not one stinkin’ dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like… victory.

  63. Dan Slott has this arc to win me over and I’m going to try Dark Avengers. Also getting Guardians and going to give Ruins ago. I;ve got no idea why but for some reason I fancy it.

Also as I’m going to the shop I can pick up the last few weeks and get some reading done.

BQ: As soon as I think I’m out they drag me back in.

  64. BQ: "You’re probably wondering, ‘did he fire five shots or six?’. In all the confusion, I kinda lost count myself, but the Smith & Wesson .44 caliber is the most powerful handgun in the world and could blow your head clean off. The question is ‘do you feel lucky’. Well do ya, punk!?"

  65. Three weeks in a row of dropping books, and this one hurts a bit. I’m cuttiing Astonsishing X-Men (I’m cutting all my Ellis books, it seems), X-Men Legacy (Carey has never grabbed me on this one), possibly Brave and the Bold and Supergirl (now that the New Krypton crossover is done), maybe X-Factor (or this’ll be my last issue), Punisher Max (what’s up with $3.99?!?!), and Moon Knight. Almost dropping as many books as I’m buying.

Really looking forward to Superman Beyond, the Deathstroke book, Spider-Man, Captaiin America one-shot, Dark Avengers, Thunderbolts, Superman/Batman and Uncanny annuals, Battlefields, and Hack Slash – very, very strong week.

BQ: Just saw this one last weekend:

"To know life, Otto, you have to fuck death… in the gall bladder." – Udo Kier, Flesh for Frankenstein (and yes, he did)

  66. BQ: "Back off man, I’m a Scientist" – Dr. Venkman

  67. I have nothing this week as well. Nozzzinnggg. Geez. I kind of regret switching to trades for ASM, but whateva. I’ll just read my new Criminal and (borrowed) Proof trades come Wednesday.

I know not where to begin for the BQ, but off the top of my head…

BQ:  "I was called to the bathroom at the cemetery to take care of something. I walked in the bathroom, and in the middle toilet right there… somebody didn’t shit in the toilet, somebody shat on the toilet. They shat on the wall, they shat on the floor. I had to clean it up, man, but before that, for about 10 to 15 seconds man, I just stared at somebody’s shit, man. To be totally honest with you, man, it was a really, really profound moment. Cuz I was thinkin’, "I’m 30 years old, and in about 10 seconds I gotta start cleaning up somebody’s shit, man."  – Mark Borchert, American Movie

  68. You should never have introduced this BQ. Cause I could do this all week long.

"After all it’s not that awful. Remember what the fella said: In Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. 77. @hiphophead: Great line from Dirty Harry but I prefer this one.

  78. green lantern, JLA, tiny titans.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

‘It’s a funny thing about comin’ home. Looks the same, smells the same, feels the same. You’ll realize what’s changed is you.’

‘Did I ever tell you I was struck by lightning seven times?’ (insert the randomness of each situation here)

‘It’s funny how sometimes the people we remember the least make the greatest impression on us.’

  84. "Bob? Gun."

  85. @Tork: How could i have forgot The Big Lebowski!!!

  88. BQ: "Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight" or "The greatest trick the Devil ever played was convincing the world he didn’t exist" or "I bet you’re gay"

  89. "You know, it really makes you think."

    "think about what?"

"Whether she’s naked under that dress.  She’s French.  You know that."

  90. Dark Avengers and ASM 584

BQ: "Talking monkey, yeah, yeah. Came here from the future, ugly sucker, only says ‘ficus’." -Kiss Kiss Bang Bang

  91. Um, Way of the Gun has some of the best lines ever:

Joe: So, you the brains of this outfit, or is he?

Longbaugh: Tell ya the truth, I don’t think this is a brains kind of operation.

  92. Well I’m sitting here trying to choose which one of two books should be my pick of the week.  It’s definitely between Supergirl #37 or Amazing Spiderman #584.  I chose Supergirl by just a #%*@hair at the very end, but I realized something during my little trial: both issues have a lot in common.

See, both of them are part ones in a new story arc, both of them start off a little bit as a murder mystery (the death of Guardian in Supergirl and the death of the Bookie in Spiderman), and they both come closer to revealing the true identity of a main player in the story (Superwoman in Supergirl and Menace in Spiderman).

Weird, huh?  Seems as if comic book writers are continuosly using the same story structures but I doubt that I was the first to ever realize that.

  93. Dr. Strangelove (Or How I Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb)

President Merkin Muffley: [to Kissoff] Hello?… Uh… Hello D- uh hello Dmitri? Listen uh uh I can’t hear too well. Do you suppose you could turn the music down just a little?… Oh-ho, that’s much better… yeah… huh… yes… Fine, I can hear you now, Dmitri… Clear and plain and coming through fine… I’m coming through fine, too, eh?… Good, then… well, then, as you say, we’re both coming through fine… Good… Well, it’s good that you’re fine and… and I’m fine… I agree with you, it’s great to be fine… a-ha-ha-ha-ha… Now then, Dmitri, you know how we’ve always talked about the possibility of something going wrong with the Bomb… The *Bomb*, Dmitri… The *hydrogen* bomb!… Well now, what happened is… ahm… one of our base commanders, he had a sort of… well, he went a little funny in the head… you know… just a little… funny. And, ah… he went and did a silly thing… Well, I’ll tell you what he did. He ordered his planes… to attack your country… Ah… Well, let me finish, Dmitri… Let me finish, Dmitri… Well listen, how do you think I feel about it?… Can you *imagine* how I feel about it, Dmitri?… Why do you think I’m calling you? Just to say hello?… *Of course* I like to speak to you!… *Of course* I like to say hello!… Not now, but anytime, Dmitri. I’m just calling up to tell you something terrible has happened… It’s a *friendly* call. Of course it’s a friendly call… Listen, if it wasn’t friendly… you probably wouldn’t have even got it… They will *not* reach their targets for at least another hour… I am… I am positive, Dmitri… Listen, I’ve been all over this with your ambassador. It is not a trick… Well, I’ll tell you. We’d like to give your air staff a complete run-down on the targets, the flight plans, and the defensive systems of the planes… Yes! I mean i-i-i-if we’re unable to recall the planes, then… I’d say that, ah… well, ah… we’re just gonna have to help you destroy them, Dmitri… I know they’re our boys… All right, well listen now. Who should we call?… *Who* should we call, Dmitri? The… wha-whe, the People… you, sorry, you faded away there… The People’s Central Air Defense Headquarters… Where is that, Dmitri?… In Omsk… Right… Yes… Oh, you’ll call them first, will you?… Uh-huh… Listen, do you happen to have the phone number on you, Dmitri?… Whe-ah, what? I see, just ask for Omsk information… Ah-ah-eh-uhm-hm… I’m sorry, too, Dmitri… I’m very sorry… *All right*, you’re sorrier than I am, but I am as sorry as well… I am as sorry as you are, Dmitri! Don’t say that you’re more sorry than I am, because I’m capable of being just as sorry as you are… So we’re both sorry, all right?… All right

General "Buck" Turgidson: If the pilot’s good, see, I mean if he’s reeeally sharp, he can barrel that baby in so low… oh you oughta see it sometime. It’s a sight. A big plane like a ’52… varrrooom! Its jet exhaust… frying chickens in the barnyard!

General "Buck" Turgidson: Sir, you can’t let him in here. He’ll see everything. He’ll see the big board

  94. Bonus Question:

I can do pretty much the entirty of Empire Records with the assistance of my sister, but let’s stick to "What’s wth you today? Yesterday you were normal and today you’re like the guy from the Karate Kid. What’s with you today?" "What’s with today today?"  "Good point,"

I can also do Back to the Beach, "20 years ago my parents were the coolest teens in America. My dad was a heart throb!  And my mom belonged to this strange cult called the Mousecaters."

I got more, but I wont torture you with them.

  95. Hellboy (first film)

Abe Sapien: Remind me why I do this again.
Hellboy: Rotten eggs and the safety of mankind.

Sgt. Whitman: You’re wasting our time, there’s nothing on this island but sheep and rocks!
[moments later the soldiers find a large Nazi encampment in the ruins]
Young ‘Broom’: They must be here for the sheep.

Hellboy: Hey Myers, you’re a talker. What’s a good word, a solid word for "need"?
John Myers: Well, "need" is a good, solid word.
    Hellboy: Nah. Too needy.

Abe Sapien: You’ve been burned by some kind of organic acid.
    Hellboy: I’m lucky that way.
