RON FUN FACT: I will buy every Voltron #1 comic that ever comes out. Regardless of creative team, publisher, whatever. If it’s coming out, I’ll buy it. Call it ’80s nostalgia, call it wanting to connect to my childhood, call it what you will. All I know is that I love Voltron. I may not stick with it, but I’ll give it a shot.

Jack Kirby’s Fourth World Omnibus Vol. 1 TP

A bunch of people on this site have been having fun reading O.M.A.C., well here’s the real deal. Now out in more affordable trade paperback form. This admittedly imperfect work was Jack, the godfather of modern superhero comics, let completely off the chain, to do as he would, creating worlds and gods. These ideas would stick and hold purchase in the DC Universe through today, proving that even more than his bombastic style, it’s Jack’s ideas that had the real power. Darkseid is, because of the King.

    I’m really excited the fourth world omnibus is coming out in a cheaper version, those hardcovers are ridiculously expensive on the second-hand market.

    But, they coulda/shoulda picked a better image for the cover, i want more cosmic Kirby craziness!

    Hahaha I agree with Connor on Avenging Spider-Man, issue 1 was over the top Spidey fun, can’t wait to read issue 2!

    yes i agree. Avenging Spiderman was tons of fun, and really great to look at it. For me its just classic superhero comics.
