  1. YEEEESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The first issue of this was so much fun. Cannot wait.

  2. I loved the first issue it was simple, fun and full of action. Two Spidey books this week makes me a happy man!

  3. I love this book. It’s if Michael Bay wasn’t shit.

  4. It’s pricey, but I’m digging it. I wish I could subscribe, but I can see why Marvel doesn’t offer it. That said, I like it.

It’s pretty much what I was hoping for, with a lil’ twist.

  5. I’ve always been a big Spidey fanboy, but I’d kind of forgotten some of the fun, kinetic joy that spider-man can bring until I read the last issue. Action-packed and funny, issue one was perfect.

  6. I’m at least on board through issue three. After that it appears to be switching to a Hawkeye team-up with Greg Land on art. Land doesn’t bother me, but I was really just excited about this for some Joe Mad. We’ll see though. Maybe issue four will be on a light week for me.

  7. ‘Avenging Spider-Man’…The title bothered a friend of mine for a while until he realized, with my help of course, that the story begins with Spider-Man fighting along side the Avengers.

Issue #1 was a lot of fun, but may only visit this title based on artist and characters involved.

  8. As someone who grew up mostly on Marvel and an avid Spider-man fan, before this comic I only had DC on my pull. I had been dying to add Marvel, especially Spidey to my pull but didn’t want to backtrack. Was so excited to add this after reading the review on IF previous to release. First issue was fast paced and super funny! All that to say, yippie Spidey 😀

  9. wow this was INCREDIBLE! Can’t believe how much fun this is! I’m on board as long as Joe Madureira is doing the art. It takes a lot for me to break my comic budget but I will gladly spend extra for titles like these! 5/5 and in the running for my POTW!

  10. Wow. Just wow.

  11. When Land comes on board, how many jump ship?

  12. i was a lil short on cash this week so this is one of the few i had to leave in my script-box at the CS.
i’ll be wondering ‘what could have been’ until i pick it up in a few days:(

  13. I can’t believe all the Greg Land hate…he was absolutely awesome doing “Sojourn” at Crossgen, and his Ultimate FF run was excellent as well…I like this book, I just want more story. Lots and lots of splash pages in this one…

  14. Is Land universally hated or is it just iFanboy? I’m neutral about him (could be because I don’t read books he works on) but the hate seems unanimous and I cannot believe the guy can find work.

  15. Not as good as the first one, but still a lot of fun.

  16. zeb wells really nails the voice of spider-man. he’s actually funny instead of just annoyingly cheesey(which has its charm) this might be the most i’ve enjoyed a spider-man book in years. im sure the art has a lot to do with it as well

  17. I wish Zeb was on ASM. Or Joe Kelly. Or Bendis.
