October 1, 2011 2:25 pm I think it also has a great deal to do with how well the LCBS did in aggressively going after this opportunity...the one closest to me in NC let you buy all 52 issues for $52....how do you pass that up?! I never bought issues before and just bought trades occasionally. As a result, I am already up to about 30 in my pull list balanced between some of the new DC titlles, marvel and a few others thrown in there...I am sure I will add others as my familiarity grows with different characters. In one fell swoop, wednesday is now my favorite day of the week. Well done Ultimate Comics in Durham.
September 29, 2011 3:34 pm you either like a magic based book or you don't...I keep trying but I always end up confused...
September 11, 2011 8:26 pm I thought that this was a great example of how to make a jump on book...about half of the others felt like I need to know way to much of the DC history which I am not willing to invest....a 5 star book for jump on book.
September 11, 2011 5:45 pm Never purchased a 'war/military' comic before and this was just included because my comic shop ran a 'all 52 for $52' promotion...awesome promotion by the way...I have only bought trades up to this point but after this I will probably be at about 20-25 comics/month. But back to this book, I loved the link to old Sgt Rock and have this book on my bubble to continue.
