March 18, 2013 10:31 am I WOULD WATCH THE HELL OUT OF THIS
July 9, 2012 1:10 pm I can't believe they haven't done an omnibus set yet of PD's hulk run. It's one I would buy without hesitation, and wouldn't even care if they put in any "bonus material" that everyone seems to require in order to enjoy a special edition nowdays. I got the whole run in a longbox, but I'd rather have it on my shelf. And those artists... Jeff Purves, Todd McFarlane, Dale Keown, Gary Frank.. Yeah, after Frank the art got... iffy... But as a HUGE fan of Peter David, I'm always wishing for omnibuses of his Hulk, Supergirl, Young Justice, and X-Factor work. None of it has even been announced or speculated or even rumored as far as I'm aware. Maybe it's just my fandom and bias, but it sometimes feels a little like a snub. Probably just me.
June 4, 2012 1:09 pm Oh man.. I just read a whole article about how much one person hates a TV show. I need to manage my time better.
May 17, 2012 10:27 am Aw Yeah, Mad Titan!
March 30, 2012 3:15 pm I can't really remember.. was "The Batman" cartoon controversial with the fans? I liked it. Seems like it just had the misfortune of being the first DC show to be separate from the most excellent "Bruce Timm universe" that was still so fresh in everyone's mind. Batman: Brave and the Bold was cool too. Especially once you picture how much fun Diedrich Bader must have been having while pretending to be Batman. LOL.
March 30, 2012 3:03 pm Hey I thought it was great. Hence the winky emoticon. Josh, I had fun reading it.
March 30, 2012 12:57 pm This probably doesn't apply, because it's not a tv show, and I don't speak for all comic fans.. but the DC animated movies are "that show" for me. I anticipate and long for each one. Conor pretty much nailed it on his reply. I'd bet that Kevin Conroy may be "Batman" to more people than anyone else is. Name recognition, aside, of course.. I realize that the live action actors are more recognized.. but whether you know him as "Kevin Conroy" or "That guy that did the voice on Arkham Asylum and Batman: The Animated Series", he's gotta be way up there.
March 30, 2012 12:45 pm LOL Josh gettin' a little cranky in his old age. ;)
March 30, 2012 11:41 am It's Batman. That alone earns it a very open-minded shot from me. Joel Schumacher isn't directing, so I think we're ok here (Has that reference jumped the shark yet? probably.. but hey). I've enjoyed just about every incarnation of animated Batman.
