October 25, 2012 2:38 pm Are you saying that Cap has a... license to kill?
October 11, 2012 11:36 am I was a little worried about the Joker storyline, to be honest. I love both Snyder and Capullo, and they haven't disappointed. But there had been so much hype for this arc and on Twitter everybody was talking about how scary it was... I just knew there was no way for it to live up to expectations. It would be fine, of course, but it wouldn't be awe-inspiring. Boy was I wrong. Everything about this issue was perfect. The Joker is twisted and genuinely frightening. I was *scared*. Scared enough to sleep with the closet door shut and the hallway light on. I am at the point where if Snyder wrote the nutritional information on the back of a cereal box, I would buy it and two if Capullo did the artwork.
October 10, 2012 6:56 pm But I kind of thought the point of Spider-Man was that he WASN'T superior...? He was supposed to be the character that everybody could relate too. :-/
October 3, 2012 12:33 pm I've loved the Rot storyline, but I do agree that it has dragged on too long. I'm sticking with it, but I'll be glad when it's over.
September 29, 2012 9:27 pm So glad this is finally back! It was a fabulous episode, not one of the most exciting, more of a recap, but it was still awesome. Can't wait for next week!
September 20, 2012 2:37 pm Looking forward to Joker's return, and I might start picking up Wonder Woman. But this Aquaman crossover with Justice League... ugh. I don't want that.
August 30, 2012 3:25 am That's a great idea for the characters. I was getting really frustrated the other day, because I am a stickler for alphabetical order, but I couldn't decide: is Incredible Hulk under 'I' or 'H'? is Amazing Spider-Man under 'A' or 'S'?? You have solved my problem for me! Thank you! :D
August 7, 2012 3:34 pm I love my LCS. I go there every Wednesday, 12:05 on the dot. (12:05 because it opens at 12:00 but I wait a few minutes because I don't want to seem desperate) I love having a physical copy of my comics. Digital CAN be good, for a variety of reasons. Physical copies take up space- a lot of it. It is easier to bring comics with you on vacation when they are stored digitally. You also don't have to worry about your LCS running out. But... I think that is part of the fun. I had a blast last week when I was trying to hunt down a comic that my LCS was sold out of. I ended up going to three shops that I had never gone to before, and I met a lot of great people doing so. When I read things digitally, they don't hold me emotionally. They are so much easier to just let go and stop reading. That may be better in the long run for my babysitting-fueled wallet, but I still don't want it to happen. So... yeah. I'm gonna keep supporting my LCS.
July 25, 2012 4:45 pm Eh.... I understand where they are coming from, but it looks a bit boring in the actual execution.
July 14, 2012 1:17 pm Hmm... not loving it right now, but it'll probably look great on the big screen. I'm not too worried.
