Kick-Ass Teaser Trailer

On Nov 10, 2009 9:35 PM

Knowing the books and being able to put context to the clips makes this look great.  But the way the trailer is produced and feels... it's just 'off' somehow.  If I didn't know what the book was actually like this trailer would make me think on giving this a pass.  But I will be there opening day.  So serioulsy is this movie going to be out before the book gets to finish?

Wally Wood was always a fave of mine.  His best Pencil work was done in the T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents books from Tower comics.  Great stuff if you can ever track them down...

This Week in Baseball: Joe Quesada & Matt Fraction?

On Oct 15, 2009 12:03 PM

@andrew to be very nitpicky... Superman was created by a Cleveland guy and a Canadian from Toronto who later moved to Cleveland.   @Bizdaddy I completely agree with your view on Ben Grimm being a Dodgers fan...

Whatever Happened to the No-Prize Hunter?

On Oct 12, 2009 11:56 AM

Wow is it just me seeing the blazing irony exploding like a house on fire from the people complaining about this article?  Loved this post Jim... nice work. For the record that No-Prize book featured above was one I litterally read the cover right off of as a kid.
