December 3, 2012 11:56 pm Vertigo, particularly in the early to mid 90's, is the number one contributing factor to why I still read comics. I had grown tired of the usuall superhero stuff and turned to Hellblazer which then got me interested in Preacher and then their seemingly unending self-contained miniseries. I felt a real connection to those writers and their stories. I'm very sad to see these recent developments.

July 16, 2008 2:05 pm It's nice to see Starman getting some love these days. It was one of those books that never had a wasted issue and I always felt like it didn't get enough recognition. I'm glad I got on that bandwagon when it was still being published.
