The issue had a very familiar feel to it, it was well done, nicely paced, and the ongoing narrative from Captain America was a nice touch.  Having Tony Stark hook up with Carol Danvers wasn’t a shock, and the Asgardian horde was a background annoyance, but when the Enchantress showed up, then it got interesting. She “recruited” Valkyrie, Zarda, and Carol and together they turned on the gorup and put them down.  They turned on the MALE members of the group.  Then it hit me.  Avengers #83 had a story very reminiscent  abou the “Lady Liberators” and how the women in the groups were duped into taking over the group.  That story happened in 1971 I think and that was during a time time where the “battle of the sexes” was in full swing.  And the way that the Enchantress swung the the ladies to hers side appeared to be an homage to that story.  That story only lasted the one issue, and this one seems to be the beginning of something larger, it has to be, considering that Captain America’s shield was destroyed by Valkyrie.  Ilike what went on here and look forward to seeing it unfold.  And of course anything Frank Cho does I will buy, so th eart looked great as well.
