Three issues in. I was prepared to drop this book. The art is great, Conner’s always is. But the stories lacked personality. Oomph. Anything special. Issue 4 has completely changed my mind. Jimmy and Amanda and their team really found their groove here. I felt like I got to know Power Girl through her interactions with her new ‘sidekick’ (who is hilariously funny). The story is a little sexy, absolutely adorable, action filled and has moments of laugh aloud humor. I rarely laugh aloud at ‘read’ comedy and this book absolutely made me chuckle. Highest recommendation I can give. Period.
