I agree with others who posted comments, this was much much better than the last
issue, which was lousy. It still has a long way to go to be a top-tier book, though.

The Kolins art was really bad, as others have
noted. I don’t like the way he draws faces, tries to show action, or draws the “speed” lines on the speedsters. Proportions were bad, and it looked like the work of an immature artist. It was made to look worse by the few pages of WONDERFUL Manapul
art. Oh, how I have missed him. Then, back to Kolins to finish it out.
The changes were jarring to say the least. Art gets 2/5 only because
Manapul pulled part of this out of the ditch.

Story-wise, this was much better, although not perfect. I liked the new
ideas presented, and the dialogue was better. But the Barry/Iris scene
in the coffee shop was revisit of the last issue’s intervention, which
is better forgotten. Story gets 4/5.

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 2 - Average
