Brubaker deserves one of those slow claps from movies and tv shows, the ones that speed up until everyone is cheering wildly. The dude has now brought Bucky back from the dead twice in a way which serves the story perfectly. In fact, this book has managed to make me more excited than ever for the character and BAM it shocks the reader with the coolest surprise announcement I've seen in years right when fans of the character have just been thrilled by this issue: Brubaker written Winter Soldier ongoing with the incredible pencils of Butch Guice that just worked so well in this .1 issue!! Haven't had a book and an in-book announcement blindside me like this since the pre-Internet days! Awesome, awesome, and more awesome!!
